In the last episode of Season 3 of From, the mysterious "Man in the Yellow Suit" appeared in real life for the very first time. His scary powers seem to make him the most dangerous villain in the series so far. Unlike monsters in the show that emerge at night, the Man in the Yellow Suit can walk around during the day.

This matches his potential role as a leader among the monsters, showing he has powers much greater than the other creatures in Fromville. In Episode 10, called "Revelations: Chapter Two," the Man in the Yellow Suit fights with Jim, to the fans' bewilderment.

Before killing Jim, he ominously said:

“Your wife shouldn’t have dug that hole, Jim.”

This shows that it is he who makes the secret radio voice in Season 1.

Let's look into all those scary abilities of the Man in the Yellow Suit and where his presence takes the story in terms of its background.

What makes the Man in the Yellow Suit walk in daylight?

The Man in the Yellow Suit is different from other monsters, as he can walk in the daytime. This is a skill only found in him and the kind Boy in White. This difference shows that he has a greater level of supernatural power.

Screen Rant mentions that it may be because he is the king of the creatures of Fromville, which makes him an object of fear and power. Such a conclusion can be arrived at since it is mentioned in Miranda's paintings in Season 3 Episode 2.

The Man in the Yellow Suit is shown with a red glow around him, symbolizing violence and power. His glow and ability to show up at important times strengthen his role as the town's "secret keeper," punishing anyone who looks too closely into Fromville's secrets.

Fans consider the Man in the Yellow Suit's daylight visits as proof of his connection to Fromville's major supernatural energy. His powers in daylight could be a manifestation of the Boy in White, which is an entity that was supposed to feed into chaos and secrecy.

The duality of the Man in Yellow and the Boy in White

It is interconnected and disparate, representing chaos and order. The Boy in White is quietly helping the people of Fromville to unlock the truth, whereas the Man in Yellow is trying to keep them from achieving that.

His words before he killed Jim, remind us clearly of his role as the punisher:

“Knowledge comes with a cost.”

In the finale, Tabitha and Jade's discovery of their reincarnated pasts acts as the catalyst for his appearance. After Jade's violin tune unlocks memories tied to the "anghkookey" children, the Man in Yellow arrives to restore secrecy per Dexerto.

The show's subreddit says that his similarities with Dr. Mabuse (a German fictional bad guy famous for using body transfer to control others) prove his careful way of taking charge.

The MIY [Man in Yellow] uses monsters to help him. The BIW [Boy in White] fights for justice for the children sacrificed by the people of Fromville. Their battle could decide the town's future.

Is the Man in Yellow the mastermind of Fromville?

One interesting idea is that the Man in the Yellow Suit is made on the other monsters by forcing its people to give up their children for immortality. This idea connects to the Season 3 finale, which shows that the "anghkookey" kids (ghostly figures haunting the town) are the sacrificed children.

His cryptic warnings and radio messages in Season 1 indicate that his influence goes far beyond what is revealed. According to Dexerto, the town prospers on chaos and confusion, and the Man in Yellow makes sure that all its mysteries are kept that way.

Fans have also noticed the repeated Mabuse name on the ambulance equipment as a hint. Dr. Mabuse’s story includes secretly controlling things, making him a good comparison. Mabuse and the Man in Yellow are similar: secretive leaders who control events to keep their power.
