Peter Capaldi and Jessica Raine star in this latest season of The Devil's Hour on Prime Video. Their characters, Gideon and Lucy, have come together in a rather uncomfortable alliance in The Devil’s Hour Season 2 to find the serial bomber who attacks the toy store.

The show is more of a thriller than a supernatural mystery, and it keeps viewers guessing until the final moments, leaving questions unanswered. One question that baffles viewers at the end of season 2 is, who is the yellow-hooded individual? Many suspect that it is Jonah Taylor. Read to know more about the speculated theory.

The question of who the man in the yellow hoodie in The Devil’s Hour is has been making the rounds on the internet following the end of the show's second season.

Reddit users have debated whether the man in the yellow hoodie is Jonah. According to them, Jonah was the main character throughout the storyline and never showed his face. Secondly, users suggest that he must be in his early twenties in The Devil's Hour based on his size and height.

A look at the Watson family forms the basis of the second season of The Devil's Hour. Things are going well for them; they are expecting a baby, and everything else seems to be going smoothly. But suddenly, there is a huge explosion in a toy store, sending the couple - and 14 others - to the floor.

As the camera scans the floor, we focus on a creepy smiley face coming out of the top of the sunflower toy that we remember Isaac playing with in Season 1 of The Devil's Hour. This is another reminder of Gideon's warning a year ago when he promised the exact number of deaths.

Gideon and Lucy need to find out who the bomber is so they can stop him when they return for the next loop. The bomber covers their face in every CCTV shot. They are only ever seen wearing a yellow zip-up hoodie. Gideon must see their face to know who they are and stop them from bombing in the next loop.

In 2009, Gideon saved a boy called Jonah Taylor from his parents' beatings. Jonah was playing in his backyard when Gideon took him to live with Evelyn Wiseman in the small rural cabin she'd been living in since she ran away from home in 1986.

Gideon stumbles upon some drawings on the kitchen table at Evelyn's cottage in season two of The Devil's Hour. One of the drawings shows one of Rigby's toy shops – the target of Yellow Hoodie's bombing – and one of a teddy bear wearing a t-shirt and dungarees. It is unsure whether Evelyn drew the teddy bear pictures based on Jonah's descriptions or whether Jonah was the artist behind those drawings.

In season one of The Devil's Hour, we also see Gideon driving out of the house, explaining why he had taken Jonah away from their home. Jonah is holding a teddy bear dressed in a little t-shirt and toy dungarees. He drops the bear out of the van window, which is later discovered by the roadside as very important information in his kidnapping case.

There are speculated theories that the one wearing the Yellow Hoodie in The Devil's Hour is indeed Jonah Taylor, who should now be in his early twenties. Perhaps he was warped by nature and definitely by his childhood, making a normally clean and bright soul into a fighter used by cruel people to carry out evil plans.

Another "anomaly" whose life, like Evelyn and Sylvia, changed forever by Gideon, must have been tormented by some awful memories and hard times. This probably is what compelled him to conduct brutal and unfair murders.
