Who knew trust and emotions are the two elements needed to win Netflix's Million Dollar Secret? Cara did. She has been the "quiet" one all season long, never making a weird move, never being on the chopping block, and always having allies.

But there was something else that helped Cara pave her way through 12 contestants who were out there to eliminate her right out. As she claimed in her confessional, it was her "intuition" that had brought her this far, and she was going to trust it till the end, and trust she did.

When the money was randomly reassigned from Sam's box after Corey completed the secret agenda, it was moved to Cara's. She had a lot of scheming and playing to do.

The worst part about it all, for her, was lying to people whom she had trusted all this time. Her closest siblings were Sam and Corey. Sam had previously mentioned how her motherly instincts want to protect Cara and take her to the end.

As for Corey, he felt that they were always on the same vibe and connected. Cara felt bad, but used these to her advantage and won a million dollars at the end.

Million Dollar Secret - How did Cara win the season?

By the end of the Million Dollar Secret season, only four contestants were left: Cara, Sydnee, Sam, and Corey. After the elimination dinner that sent home Kyle and Jaimi, they were hanging out by the fireplace when the bell rang for a brand new round.

It was the trophy room, and there were green lasers all over. The winning team, Corey and Sam, had to make their way across the room and retrieve their boxes.

Cara explained how she threw off her own game so that Sydnee would not win with her. Corey and Sam were awarded the power to eliminate one from the losing team, and they chose Sydnee.

The next game on Million Dollar Secret was to thread five needles in the shortest amount. Cara won the game, Corey scored the second position, and Sam was the third one. They were then invited to the trophy room for their third round.

Here, Cara and Corey could swap the contents of any two boxes of their liking. Sam could not because she lost the needle round.

Cara decided that she would now go full board on making Corey think that she was the millionaire because then, he would swap the contents of her box with his, and then she could swap it right back.

However, there was a moment between him and Sam that led to an argument, which made Cara doubt if he swapped off with Sam instead. Ultimately, she went with her gut and swapped the contents of Corey's box with hers.

Million Dollar Secret host Peter had announced that the person who finds a million dollars in their box at this moment will get to keep it. As the three opened it, Cara dropped to the floor, crying, because hers was full of stacks of cash amounting to a million.

This was a huge feat for her because her father is suffering from cancer, and it could help with his treatment.

She works at an In-N-Out and claimed that her family has always struggled when it came to financial luck. However, a million dollars will change everything for them.

At the end of Million Dollar Secret, before the credits rolled out, Peter revealed that Cara has two sisters, and Sam's jaw was on the floor. However, he then quipped with Sam for lying about being a cop, and then Cara was shocked.
