Taylor Sheridan isn’t just the creator of Yellowstone as he also plays a character named Travis Wheatley, a skilled horse trader. Sheridan isn't a regular cast member in his show and only appeared in a handful of episodes.
However, in the latest Yellowstone Season 5 Episode 13 "Give the World Away", Sheridan's Travis Wheatley impressively took center stage. Not only this, but he also cast supermodel Bella Hadid as his on-screen girlfriend Saide, making it Hadid's second appearance in the show.
His increased screentime in Yellowstone explains how important the horse trader is in advancing the narrative. Wheatley holds a strong presence in the equine and is connected to the Dutton family.
Sheridan's character highlights his charm and professionalism in his dealings with the Dutton, especially John Dutton (Kevin Costner), a beloved character who recently died. Travis Wheatley can also be described as one of the key figures in the life of the Duttons.

Taylor Sheridan follows an unapologetic approach to his projects
Sheridan is known for his fearless and boldness while working on a project. After transforming into a director, Taylor Sheridan has followed his creative instincts and avoided compromises.
His journey began as a struggling actor with just a few dollars in his pocket, and gradually proved his writing skills through projects like Sicario, Hell or High Water, and Wind River.

As shared by Sheridan in a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, the executives found it "too Middle America" leading him to withdraw his script. He previously explained:
