The Voice Season 26 Episode 7 aired on October 21, 2024. The Battle Rounds started from the seventh episode onwards. The latest season of the musical show introduced a few exciting concepts, including "stealing," through which coaches can steal eliminated players from other teams.

So whenever a contestant is eliminated after the "battles," coaches from another team can choose to keep that participant through the steal opportunity. Each coach, including Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, and Michael Bublé, is given two steals for the "Battles."

In the latest episode of The Voice Season 26, fans witnessed two steals.

Sydney Sterlace competed against Sloane Simon on the popular Billie Eilish song Birds of Feather. As a result, Sloane was eliminated from the battle round, and the remaining three judges pressed their steal buttons.

Simon joined Team Bublé. Additionally, Mor Ilderton switched to Team Gwen after losing the battle to Kiara Vega.

The Voice Season 26 battles: Two contestants switched teams on episode 7

Battle between Sloane Simon and Sydney Sterlace from Team Gwen

The Voice Season 26 Episode 7 featured a faceoff between Sloane Simon and Sydney Sterlace. After a stunning performance, Gwen Stefani chose Sterlace, a 15-year-old artist, to advance through her team.

As a result, the rest of the judges pressed their steal buttons to steal Simon. With Michael being the first one, he welcomed Sloane Simon to his team.

Additionally, he could be seen recalling how he saw the potential in Simon and mentioned the possibility of her winning the competition.

"Sloane has a great voice, angelic, sweet tone, great pitch, great control. People are going to really love her. She's a pop star in the making," shared Michael Bublé.

Battle between Kiara Vega and Mor Ilderton from Team Bublé

Ilderton and Vega were the final battles of the latest episode, and they performed the cover of Iris, part of the Dizzy Up the Girl album of the Goo Goo Dolls, and mesmerized everyone. While Michael chose to keep Kiara Vega as he shared,

"The decisions are impossible. It's not a joke. I honestly picked Kiara because of her potential. She's got a great voice, she doesn't sound like any other girl. I think the music industry might not know that they're missing a piece of the puzzle — and that she's it."

On the other hand, Team Gwen went for Mor Ilderton and welcomed him to the team.

"I just had to steal Mor. I just got this feeling like, 'I know what to do with that guy.' My favorite thing about Mor's voice is it just has a unique, raspy, undone tone. When you hear music out there, his voice feels like what's happening now in the world," shared Gwen Stefani.

The Voice Season 26 battles ended with Mor Ilderton switching to Team Gwen while Sloane Simon stayed in Team Bublé.
