During this event, Chuck heard the lead singer of the band, Ed Robertson, singing an impromptu rap that revolved around the origins of the universe.

Chuck, who at the time was working on the story of The Big Bang Theory, was quite impressed with Ed’s impromptu performance and reached out to him and his band to create a theme for the show.
