Selena Johnson from Belle Collective has been carving a new life for herself as she moved on in life after her divorce from JJ Williams. Selena Johnson was born on November 15, 1975, in Jackson, Mississippi, and was raised by her grandmother, Barbara Johnson. Her parents were Albert Walker and Alice Johnson. She had he first child at the young age of 14, a son, who was murdered in Prentiss.

She married JJ Williams when she was 18 and had three daughters named Sunjai Williams, Sky Williams, and Star Williams. JJ and Selena separated in 2005. Later, JJ Williams married Sophia, who is a fellow cast member of Belle Collective.

Sophia and Selena had an intense fight last season during one of the gatherings organized by Latrice Roger. Sophia intervened between Tamra and Selena's conversation only to greet Tamra and ignore Selena. This started an argument between the two as Selena told her she had a "habit of coming second to her."

However, this season, Selena aspired to be more cordial and maintain a respectful relationship with both JJ and Sophia as her three daughters are also involved in this equation. She wants her daughters to be normal with their father and have a normal relationship with their stepmother, Sophia.

During an interview with Blavity, Selena addressed that, despite a clash last season she decided to join season 5 to mend the relationship with JJ and Sophia. She said:

"Well, the family drama is already on display to tell you the truth. And I wanted to be a part of it to try to mend the family, not really to cause any more conflict or any more drama, and I would do anything for my kids. I’ve always been that way."

However, part 1 of the Belle Collective Season 5 reunion revealed that the two ladies could not keep it cool and lashed out at each other once again. Fans must watch part 2 of the reunion to witness what is more to come as JJ and Selena's partner will join the cast too.
