Celebrity Big Brother is a reality TV spinoff series of the well-renowned reality TV series Big Brother. This series follows a similar format to Big Brother in which celebrities live in a house together for some time disconnected from the outside world.
They are required to compete in different tasks to form alliances and protect themselves from elimination.
The first contestant to be eliminated on the 2025 show was Michael Fabricant. After episode 8 was released, it was disclosed that Trisha Goddard was the second contestant to be sent home. This happened after she was voted out during the April 15, 2025, episode.
Prior to her elimination, Mickey Rourke was removed from the show due to his inappropriate use of language.
As of now, Celebrity Big Brother cast members who are still competing in the series include Chesney Hawkes, Patsy Palmer, JoJo Siwa, Donna Preston, Angellica Bell, Danny Beard, Chris Hughes, Daley Thompson, Jack P Shepherd, and Ella Rae Wise.
Trisha Goddard was sent home on Celebrity Big Brother 2025
The second contestant to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house was Trisha Goddard, who received the least amount of votes. During the Tuesday, April 15, 2025 episode, Trisha's journey on the show ended when she faced elimination. Patsy Palmer and Jack P Shepherd managed to secure their position in the game, but Trisha had to go home.
Being part of the series, Trisha shared that it was a "holiday" and a "break" for her. She opened up about her cancer diagnosis to the cameras while stating:
"Yes, I did talk about cancer because I had to, and it is part of my life, as it is for 3.4 million Brits. It was just a break from having to think about it. Heavy subjects came up now and again, but it was just a break!"
Before Trisha was sent home, The Wrestler star Mickey Rourke was removed from the show due to his
"use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour" as mentioned by the ITV show producers.
As viewers already know, Mickey had made homophobic comments regarding his fellow housemate Jojo Siwa and passed inappropriate remarks towards Ella Rae Wise.
He also clashed with Chris Hughes as their argument got heated. After the decision was made to remove him from the show, the Celebrity Big Brother cast member apologized for his mistake, admitting that he crossed a line and took accountability for his unacceptable behavior. He said:
"I stepped over the line and I take responsibility for doing the wrong thing. 'Cause I lost my temper, and I've been trying to work on it my whole life and I wish I would have had better self-control and I'm very sorry."
He continued elaborating that he was ready to work on his self-control and anger issues. Mickey Rourke concluded:
"I'm ashamed of myself for losing it for a few seconds there. Nobody got touched or hurt. Maybe some feelings got hurt or maybe others have feelings about others getting upset but, you know, I'm sorry about that."
New episodes of Celebrity Big Brother air every week from Monday to Friday on ITV and ITVX at 9 pm; meanwhile, Sunday episodes air at 10 pm.
