Who is Reghabi in Severance? Character explored in depth 

Severance dropped its season 2, three years after Season 1 which ended with the central characters- Mark, Helly, Dylan, and Irving realizing the truths about their lives. Mark's Outtie realises that his ex-wife whom he thinks is dead is working with his Innie self inside Lumon. Helly who has been vocal about Lumon's oppression realises she is the daughter of the CEO and belongs to the Eagan family.

Season 2 picks up from where Season 1 left off in Severance. It showcases a character Reghabi, a former Lumon employee who claims to attach several chips to various Lumon employees. She plays a key role in the rebellion against the Lumons. Read more to know in detail about the character.

Who is Reghabi in Severance?

By the end of season 1 in Severance, Reghabi is shown in a violent confrontation with Doug Graner, Lumon Industries' head of security. Reghabi kills Graner with a baseball bat at Ganz College, to protect Mark and this marks the rise of the rebel against the Lumon. She is determined to expose the truth about the Severance program. But killing Graner further puts her on the company's radar.

Therefore at the start of season 2, she maintains a hide. Her exact location and activities after this incident are left unexplored in Season 1, adding to the mystery surrounding her role in the resistance. Reghabi was in contact with Petey through a cellphone, that he left in Mark's basement. After Petey's death, Mark dials the phone and contacts Reghabi. Later he gets to know that she is an ex-brain surgeon who worked with Petey finding out about the larger agenda of the company.

Reghabi further facilitates Mark's connection with his Outtie self.

Reghabi is a figure of resistance and exploring the possibility of "reintegration" in season 2

Season 2 explores her character from a different angle as she is the one with knowledge of severance technology and also understands the possibility of "reintegration" that is again merging the Innie and Outtie selves. Therefore she is the figure of resistance as well as a person with internal insights about Lumon, posing her character key to the central narrative and mystery of the show. She claims to have installed a severance chip in Mark's head and also performed a reintegration on Petey, because of which Petey recognizes Mark outside the office and tells him about the process.

Reghabi and Mark decide to continue Petey's work after his death. Mark in his journey to find his wife, Gemma, discovers a mysterious office on Lumon's floor and contacts Reghabi to ask her about the same.
