Netflix's newest dark-comedy series, No Good Deed, sees the Morgans desperate to sell their house, and they also had three prospective couples as buyers.
However, the prospective buyers seem to be unaware of the secret the house carries, which is that Paul and Lydia's son Jacob was shot and killed in that house three years ago.
What started as a dark comedy about a couple trying to sell their house quickly became a murder mystery. While the Morgans say that Jacob was shot dead by burglars, that is not the case.
It is later revealed that Jacob was killed by her sister Emily, who mistook him for a burglar because he was masked. However, this was also a red herring as Emily didn't accidentally shoot her brother, as the Morgans believed for three years. It was Margo who actually shot and killed Jacob.
More on Jacob's death in No Good Deed in our story.

After many red herrings, Margo is finally revealed as Jacob's killer in No Good Deed
Lydia discovered that her son Jacob was killed with a .40 caliber pistol from his autopsy report. This made it clear that he was not accidentally shot by his sister Emily, who had a 9 mm gun. In addition, there were two casings involved, which meant that another shot was fired at Emily.
Lawyer Leslie was quick to point out that their celebrity neighbor, JD owns a .40 caliber pistol and also has a motive to kill Jacob as he has had an affair with his wife, Margo.
But as it turns out, JD was also a red herring, and it was his wife, Margo Starling, who killed Jacob in No Good Deed, her young lover.
Through flashbacks, it is revealed that Jacob used to steal expensive items from his neighbors as gifts for Margo. When she decided to break up with him, he went to her house to get those items back.
When he threatened to expose their affair to JD, Margo picked up her husband's gun and shot at Jacob, the same time that Emily shot (and missed) at her masked brother. Since nobody knew that another shot was fired, Margo hid her crime for years.
Jacob's killer Margo is actually a con artist in No Good Deed
Murder was not the only crime Margo committed over the years, as it is revealed that her real name is Luann, and she cons wealthy men with her brother. She made up a story about her accidentally setting fire to their house, which killed her brother, which turned out to be another lie.
But JD finds Bobby, her brother, and their true identities are exposed. Margo married JD because he is rich and a celebrity, and according to their plan, she would wait out the terms of the prenup and walk away with millions.
But as it turns out, Margo has already used up all of JD's money over the years buying expensive things for her, and all that was left was his house. In a final moment of justice, JD sets his house on fire, leaving Margo/Luann with nothing.
