The Rookie has given the audience yet another intriguing character this season with Liam Glasser. Seth Gable masterfully portrays this character, who is a serial killer and works as a vending machine operator.
Seth Gabel of Fringe fame was recently introduced on episode 7 of ABC’s The Rookie as the main suspect in the ongoing serial murder case. In the episode, detective Nyla Harper, who was attacked in a forsaken mental hospital, uncovers the identity of the serial killer.
Who is Liam Glasser?
The Rookie Season 7 has been focused on investigating a serial killer. While a person confesses to the crime, there is some inconclusive evidence that raises concern. It becomes clear to the team that there is a second serial killer on the prowl. As the investigations go on, they are introduced to the creepy Liam Glasser.
Detective Nyla Harper, played by Mekia Cox, accuses him and challenges him to come out in the open. While her team is suspicious of the guy as well, it has become a wait-and-watch scenario. Harper is determined to catch Liam Glasser as she eagerly awaits for him to make his next move.
How do we know Seth Gabel?
Seth Gabel joined the cast of the hit series The Rookie in episode 5 of Season 7 titled ‘Til Death.’ Gabel is a well-known television personality. His menacing performance as Liam Glasser on The Rookie has garnered him appreciation from critics and fans alike.
Seth Gabel’s notable projects
Seth Gabel’s guest role as Adrian Moore in Ryan Murphy’s medical drama Nip/Tuck was one of his most notable characters. Another recognizable performance by him was in Salem, where he played the role of Reverend Cotton Mather.
Gabel’s connection with Ryan Murphy continued with American Horror Story: Hotel, where he joined the ensemble cast of the show as ghostly Jeffrey Dahmer. He later on also guest-starred in two episodes of American Horror Stories as the religious figure Pastor Walter and Guy Brubaker.
Gabel got to show off his acting prowess as Count Vertigo in the hit comic book-inspired series, Arrow. His character as the drug manufacturer and kingpin received much admiration, and many even compared his performance to ‘The Joker.’
Of every role he has played to date, the most famous of all has been his performance as Lincoln Lee from Fringe Season 2. He had a recurring role in Seasons 3 and 4 as well, making it one of the more familiar roles from the Fringe universe.
He has also played memorable roles in shows such as Big Sky and The Watcher.
