Paramount+’s Tulsa King revolves around Dwight "The General" Manfredi, played by Sylvester Stallone, a mafia capo who gets released from prison after serving 25 years, and sets up a crew in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As Dwight endeavors to establish his empire in the city, he has to face several threats and local criminals. Before joining Tulsa King, Ritchie had already starred in a number of projects. The British actor attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, and made his screen debut with a minor role in the CBS crime drama, Dellaventura, in 1997.

Ritchie Coster is introduced as Caolan Waltrip in Tulsa King season 1, episode 3. Waltrip leads the Black Macadam motorcycle gang, a group involved in serious criminal activities like robbery, assault, and attempted murder.
Waltrip serves six years in prison at Attica for major crimes. After being released, he quickly starts rebuilding his power in Tulsa. He gets into a conflict with Dwight as soon as the mafia captain arrives in the city.
Waltrip already controls the town and sees Dwight as a threat. When Dwight tries to set up his criminal empire in the city, the two men begin to clash. At first, Waltrip tries to make a deal with Dwight, however, The General refuses.
Waltrip feels disrespected and sends his trusted man, Carson Pike, to kill Dwight. But, Dwight survives the attack and kills Pike, which intensifies the fight between the two gangs. Waltrip then attacks Dwight’s friends, including ATF officer, Stacy Beale, after which The General determines to take down the crime lord.
In the Tulsa King season 1 finale, titled ‘Happy Trails,’ the two crime bosses have a final confrontation during which Dwight shoots and kills Waltrip, marking the end of Coster’s journey in the show. With Waltrip’s death, The Black Macadams lose control over the city.
