Netflix's popular crime show The Recruit Season 2 premiered on January 30, 2025. Created by Alexi Hawley, the plot explores the life and challenges of Owen Hendrick played by Noah Centineo who is on a mission with former CIA asset Max Meladze.

Hannah Copeland from The Recruit is played by the 28-year-old American actor and singer Fivel Stewart. Hannah is portrayed as a newbie law school graduate who hails from an influential family. Introduced to the viewers as Owen's best friend and ex-girlfriend, their relationship ended on a good note. In Season 1, Owen and Hannah shared an apartment with their friend Terence Hoffman. Born on November 4, 1996, in Beverly Hills, California, Fivel Stewart began her entertainment career at seven. The American actress and singer performed as a lead singer at her first gig in the band My Allowance with artists like Demi Lovato.

She was cast as Izzie Taylor in the Netflix series Atypical, a role that got her critical acclamation in 2022. In 2022 she appeared in the American supernatural horror film called Umma where she played the role of Chris which was directed by Iris K. Shim.

She was a part of the TV series Roar which was based on the book by Cecelia Ahern and featured an anthology series of dark feminist comedy. Fivel also stars as Sidney Grant in the Fox series Alert: Missing Persons Unit. Fivel Stewart featured as Lake in the 2024 horror film Wake which failed to gather steady reviews.

For her upcoming projects, Fivel is all set to voice the character of Abbey in the 2026 animated film The Adventures of Tikki the Wonder Dog.


What happened to Hannah in The Recruits Season 2?

In The Recruit Season 2 Hannah Copeland moves on from Owen and builds a new interest in Jae King played by Omar Maskati. Even though she still cares for Owen she feels it's important for her to maintain distance from him and the dangers of his job. She moves out of their apartment.

Hannah's relationship with Jae on the other hand is complicated. Hannah comes to realize that Jae is an NIS operative and he is using her to get information on Owen. When things go wrong between them Hannah turns to Owen for help. He involves Amelia in the matter which causes tension between the two.

Even though viewers loved their pairing on The Recruit Season 1, it is close to impossible to reconnect Owen and Hannah romantically. Instead, Hannah focuses on her job and career while maintaining her friendship with Owen.

Owen turns his attention to his childhood friend Yoo Jin Lee when he is assigned an assignment in South Korea with Janus. Even though the bond starts at a slow pace. Soon, they come closer, hinting toward a budding romance.
