Kaitlyn Dever is an American actress who has often been described as one of the most promising new talents. She was born on December 21, 1996, in Phoenix, Arizona. Her parents Kathy and Tim Dever were ice skating coaches. Kaitlyn has two siblings named Jade and Mady.

Kaitlyn developed an interest in the performing arts at an early age and her parents got her admitted to an acting school at the young age of five. During her childhood, she was also interested in gymnastics and ballet. Upon relocating to Dallas from Phoenix, Kaitlyn worked on a few commercials before eventually moving to Los Angeles.

Kaitlyn's acting career took off in 2011 after playing the character of Loretta McCready on the FX show Justified. She then appeared regularly on the ABC show Last Man Standing. Apart from this, she has also appeared on shows like Make It Or Break It, Modern Family, Private Practice, The Mentalis,t and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The character of Abby Anderson is portrayed as a formidable individual with a tragic past in The Last of Us game. Her backstory follows that she was the daughter of head surgeon Jerry Anderson, who was responsible for discovering the vaccine that would cure the Cordyceps infection.

The father and daughter duo were a part of the Fireflies group and resided in Salt Lake City before Anderson was brutally murdered by Joel Miller. This proved to be a turning point in Abby's life and set her forth on a quest for vengeance.
