Who is Player 937 on Beast Games? Contestant explored in depth

What started as a 1000-contestant show in Beast Games is down to Top 10 players after Episode 8.

Inspired by the hit Korean Netflix show Squid Game, YouTuber Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson created an elaborate competitive game show series for Amazon Prime Video. The only show to have 1000 contestants, the game claims that the winner will earn prize money worth $5 million.

The latest episode saw the Top 10 players making it to the round of the games after the Elimination Train challenge, and they were greeted by two family members in Episode 8.

One of the contestants who made it to the Top 10, as per the latest episode of Beast Games, is Player 937, whose real name is Emma Nelson.

Who is Emma Nelson (Player 937) in Beast Games?

Emma Nelson, also known as Player 937 in Beast Games, is just 22 years old and the youngest of the remaining show members.

According to The Direct, she attended Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah, followed by Utah Valley University. Whether she completed her graduation from the University is uncertain at the moment.

She married Tyler Nelson at the Ogden Utah Temple on October 20, 2022.

As seen in Beast Games Episode 8, Emma has a twin sister named Andie, who visited her sister, along with their father, in the show's latest episode.

While Emma was not much highlighted during the earlier episodes, considering there were 1000 contestants, the limelight has shifted on her since she entered the Top 10.

According to her YouTube video, she entered the game show 'as a joke':

"So, I saw an ad on Mr. Beast's website. It says 'Click here to apply,' and it said, 'Open casting.' So, [I was] like, 'Okay, I'll apply as a joke, see how it goes. I probably won't get a call back.'

She added:

"And then, in the very end, I got an email in July saying, 'Congratulations, you've made it into "Beast Games,'" and I was so stoked, it was a great day. But, after that, we went to Las Vegas for Episode 0...I didn't care how far I went, I just wanted to make it onto Amazon."

What happened in Beast Games Episode 8 with Player 937?

In Episode 8, the remaining 10 contestants were again asked to take their share of $1 million one by one, and Player 937 felt that nobody would take an extra amount at this point in the game out of respect for other players.

She had particular trust in Player 566, JC, who had looked out for her multiple times in the game previously. But when it was her turn to draw the amount, she discovered it had gone down to $27,000, meaning that somebody had taken more for themselves, leaving nothing for the rest of the players. Emma took out only $5000.

Later, she found out that Player 566 took out $650,000 to prioritize his family's needs, which shocked Emma. She believed that everybody would only take out 10% of the amount, but discovering that it was Player 566 who took out a large sum hurt her.
