Dune: Prophecy wrapped up its first season on December 21, 2024, and will be returning for a second season as well, much to the delight of the fans. The first season’s setting is the same as of the Dune films by Denis Villeneuve and is based on Kevin J Anderson and Brian Herbert’s (Frank Herbert's son) novel Sisterhood of Dune.

Focusing on the Harkonnen sisters, Dune: Prophecy tells the story of the establishment of Bene Gesserit. However, the task is not at all easy as there is a mysterious power who seems to be threatening the very foundational basis of the Sisterhood.

The very first episode of Dune: Prophecy introduced the character of Desmond Hart (Travis Fimmel), who started off by killing Pruwet Richese (Charlie Hodson-Prior) and thus ruining the wedding between him and Princess Ynez Corrino (Sarah-Sofie Boussnina).

By the finale, Desmond was revealed to be Tula’s son, a part Harkonnen and another part Atreides. So, he was born to a Sister but had to grow up amongst scavengers because his mother left him.

Travis Fimmel has done a wonderful job of portraying the role of Desmond Hart, a person with a lot of power and an ambition to fulfill his mission. Let us now explore the other projects that Desmond has been a part of.
