Chicago P.D. alum Sophia Bush is all set to star in Grey's Anatomy Season 21. This invincible series, somehow still on air, has cast Bush as one of the major characters for Season 21.
With most of the main cast of Grey's Anatomy almost dead or out of the main storyline, it was time that the show added some new cast members. And it seems like Sophia Bush is the newest member to join Grey's Anatomy.

It is being reported that Bush is cast as a recurring character in the Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital. Bush will first appear in the sixth episode of Season 21, which will air on November 7, 2024.
Apart from Chicago P.D., Bush is also known for her role on One Tree Hill. Her co-stars from One Tree Hill, Hillarie Burton, and Bethany Joy Lenz were also seen on Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Lauren Boswell (in Season 9) and domestic abuse victim Jenny (in Season 14), respectively.
It is only fair that after a run of 21 long seasons, the show needs new blood and fresh faces to shake things up a bit. And looks like Bush's character will add a new perspective to the show.

What character will Sophia Bush play in Grey's Anatomy?
Sophia Bush will play the character of Dr. Cass Beckman, a trauma surgeon at Seattle Presbyterian on Grey's Anatomy. Her character is described as “amiable, fun, and a little messy around the edges.”

It is also reported that her husband, David Beckman, will be a cardiothoracic surgeon at Grey Sloan. The actor playing Bush's husband is unclear at the moment.
Apart from Bush, season 21 of Grey's Anatomy also brought some previous characters. Jason George as Ben Warren, Kali Rocha (after a 17-year absence) as Dr. Sydney Heron, and Michael Thomas Grant (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) as James, the hospital’s new gay chaplain, will recur in Season 21.
Sophie Bush's other works explored
This is not the actress's first appearance in a medical drama. She was also in the CBS medical drama Good Sam, where she played Dr. Sam Griffith, a cardiac fellow and interim hospital chief.
She will also reportedly co-star and executive produce in the One Tree Hill sequel series, in talks with Netflix.
Her other TV credits include Love, Victor, Partners, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Chicago Med, and Nip/Tuck. Bush has also worked in movies like The Narrows, Incredibles 2, and False Positive.
She also hosts her podcast Work in Progress. Her latest appearance includes Bryan Greenberg’s directorial debut, Junction.
