Ever since the trailer for Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man was released, fans have been speculating if the show would feature the voice of NPC Miles Morales. The animated series is all set to arrive on Disney+ on January 29, 2025.

The show is set in an alternate timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and depicts the origin story of Peter Parker and his initial days as a superhero. However, instead of being guided by Tony Stark, the web-slinger is mentored by Norman Osborn.

Marvel released the official trailer for the series on December 29, 2024, which features a character that sounds pretty similar to NPC Miles Morales. NPC Miles Morales is a TikToker and Twitch streamer who is famous for his Spider-Man impersonation.

NPC Miles Morales, whose real name is Malik Ambersley, is a popular live streamer known for his creative and funny take on Spider-Man. He goes by the username leaks._.world on social media.

Instead of acting like the superhero Miles Morales, he plays a version of him as an NPC, i.e. Non-Player Character, something that is seen in a video game. NPCs are known for repeating the same phrases and having stiff, robotic movements, and Malik uses this style to entertain his fans.

His act made him quite popular on TikTok, where he currently has over a million followers. He later turned to streaming on Twitch, where he has interactive live streams with his fans. Malik is also known for performing as Miles Morales in unique places, like on city streets and on the top of the shelves in stores.

Recently, Malik made news when he appeared on Twitch star Kai Cenat’s ‘Mafiathon’ subathon in November 2024. He surprised fans by showing up and reading out subscriber notifications while Kai took a break.

In his streaming career, NPC Miles Morales has had some troubles as well. At one point, he was stopped by police during a stunt. However, his popularity is only increasing, which made fans wonder if Disney had offered him a voice role in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

Will NPC Miles Morales appear in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man?

NPC Miles Morales is not going to appear in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. He confirmed that he is not a part of the animated show during one of his streams. Hence, the TikToker has put an end to all the speculations about his potential role in the series.

Fans began to think Malik could have a voice role in the show after Marvel dropped its official trailer. In the footage, a streamer comes across Spider-Man and announces to his followers, “Check out our next victim in his dumba** costume.”

The voice of the character seemed similar to that of Malik. Since he is already associated with Spider-Man in his way, his followers wondered if he had gotten an opportunity to lend his voice in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

When fans asked him if he would appear in the show during a Twitch stream, Malik straight away cleared the air and said:

“Nah, that’s not me. But thank you, though.”

While NPC Miles Morales is not a part of the show, it does feature the voices of some other talented individuals. These include Hudson Thames as Peter Parker, Colman Domingo as Norman Osborn, Eugene Byrd as Lonnie Lincoln, and Grace Song as Nico Minoru.
