Invincible Season 3 will begin streaming on February 6, 2025, and with it, several new voice actors are set to join this series. Nine actors are joining Steven Yeun, J. K. Simmons, and Sandra Oh in the third season of Invincible, including Simu Liu as the character Multi-Paul. The actor is known for playing Shang Chi in the MCU and before that, he also got noticed for his role in Kim's Convenience.
Apart from the MCU actor Simu Liu, we also have others like Kate Mara, Aaron Paul, Xolo Maridueña, Tzi Ma, Christian Convery, John DiMaggio, and many more joining Invincible Season 3. The third season will revolve around Mark Grayson in a better place than the previous season's finale. He is joined by his paternal half-brother in fighting crime.
MCU actor Simu Liu's Multi-Paul in Invincible season 3 explained
Simu Liu, Shang Chi from the MCU, is making his debut in Invincible Season 3 as the character named Multi-Paul/Paul Cha. Multi-Paul is Dupli-Kate's brother who, like the former, also has the ability to form duplicates. He has this self-replication power because of an ancient curse on his family. Much like his sister, he shares a link with his copies, meaning if one of them dies, all of them will feel it.
Simu Liu is a surprise but welcome addition to Invincible Season 3. This will be the second MCU actor in Invincible Universe. Before him, Black Panther actor Sterling K. Brown voiced Angstrom Levy, the multiversal antagonist of the second season. Other than Liu, other actors are joining the third season of Invincible.
Who are the actors joining Invincible Season 3?
Here are the actors that you will hear throughout the third season of Invincible:
- Kate Mara as Becky Duvall
Kate Mara is known for starring in acclaimed shows like American Horror Story and House of Cards. It should also be noted that she is no stranger to the Marvel Universe as she was also Sue Storm/Invisible Woman in the maligned Fantastic Four movie that was directed by Josh Trank and released in 2015. In Invincible Season 3, she will be voicing the character Becky Duvall, Scott Duvall's wife.
- Aaron Paul as Scott Duvall/Powerplex
Scott Duvall/Powerplex is voiced by none other than Jesse Pinkman actor Aaron Paul. Powerplex is a supervillain who has the power to absorb energy and transform it into electric blasts. However, what makes Powerplex one of Invincible's well-known villains is his tragic backstory, which one may find sympathetic.
Moreover, Aaron Paul and Kata Mara will be reuniting in Invincible Season 3, as previously, they both worked together on "Beyond the Sea," a Black Mirror episode.
- Xolo Maridueña as Dropkick and Fightmaster
Dropkick and Fightmaster are martial arts experts with a unique twist. The twins are time-travelers who harbor a vendetta against The Immortal, Guardians of the Globe leader. Both of these characters will be voiced by Xolo Maridueña, who is known for playing Miguel Diaz in Cobra Kai and Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle in the 2023 Blue Beetle movie and will continue to do so in the DCU.
- John DiMaggio as The Elephant
A pastiche of the Spider-Man antagonist Rhino, The Elephant is a character that boasts of an elephant's durability and strength. The character is voiced by none other than John DiMaggio, who voiced Bender in Futurama and Jake the Dog in Adventure Time.
- Christian Convery as Oliver
Mark's half-brother, Oliver, is returning in Invincible Season 3, but with a major change. Oliver will be maturing rapidly, and he will be taking on the mantle of Kid Omni-Man, with Mark as his mentor. Based on the image above, we can observe that the Kid Omni-Man costume looks very similar to Robin, Batman's sidekick.
Oliver will be voiced by 15-year-old Christian Convery, who had previously worked on The Monkey and Sweet Tooth.
- Tzi Ma as Mr. Liu
The character of Mr. Liu serves as the leader of a mysterious syndicate referred to as "The Order." His old man appearance is a ruse as Mr. Liu can transform into a fire-breathing dragon. He is voiced by none other than beloved Hong Kong and American actor Tzi Ma, who is known for appearing in the Rush Hour movies, 2020's Mulan, and the CW's Kung Fu.
Apart from the six above, actors Jonathan Banks and Doug Bradley were also cast in the latest Invincible season, but their characters as of now have remained undisclosed.
