The 55-year-old actor has shown prowess in many rom-com and drama movies and series in the past. In Reasonable Doubt season 2, Morris Chestnut plays a high-profile lawyer.

Reasonable Doubt on Hulu is all about a woman defense attorney who defies challenges to serve justice. Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart, is a fictional character in Reasonable Doubt season 2, who works as a criminal defense attorney for a law firm in Los Angeles. The story follows her journey of past traumas and professional hurdles that this fearless attorney, crosses with cunning moves.

Corey Cash is the new fictional character played by Morris Chestnut. He is mostly known for his role in the thriller movie Boyz n the Hood as Ricky Baker. This Kick-Ass 2 actor is majorly known for his intriguing roles in G.I. Jane as McCool and Tracy Reynolds in Like Mike.

As Hulu released the first look for Corey Cash in Reasonable Doubt season 2, the character's exciting introduction is enough to give fans a taste of what Morris's character is capable of. With a great-grandfather and grandfather who were both influential lawyers, the latter even serving as president of Howard University. Initially, he thrived in corporate law, earning substantial wealth by advising top-level executives. However, driven by a deeper purpose, he transitioned to "do the Lord’s work."

Here’s a fun fact for fans before watching Reasonable Doubt season 2: Emayatzy Corinealdi (Jax Stewart) and Morris Chestnut (Corey Cash) previously teamed up in the 2015 drama series *Rosewood*, where they played Beaumont and Gigi.

Reasonable Doubt season 2 first-look teaser shows Krystal sharing her thoughts and disagreement with Jax to bring a new lawyer for a high-profile case. Meanwhile Daniel shares sits beside Krystal sharing his skepticism for Corey Cash, until he reads about his profile online.

Krystal says, "Corey Cash sounds like a fake name," Daniel quickly replies with his witty humor, "I was thinking, maybe like a spy or a 90s rapper." To which Jax affirmed, "He’s not a rapper or a spy, he is a lawyer and a damn good one." Krystal questions her acquaintance with Corey and asks, how did she know him. Jax Stewart, replied as to project Corey's achievements, "We’ve been on quite a few panels together ran into each other at NBA. I have been following his career for the last few years, and he is one away from becoming a household name and who knows? Chanel’s case can be the one."

Krystal skepticism reached it's height as she blammed Corey fro taking advantage of the firm for the sake of publicity. Meanwhile Daniel shows his research prowess and mentions, "His great-grandfather was a lawyer. His grandfather was also a lawyer and president of Howard University and he will blend right in since he started in corporate law making boot loads of cash with Sea Suite executive before transitioning to do the Lord’s work."

While Krystal, Daniel, and Jax argue about Corey's place on the panel, the highlight of Reasonable Doubt season 2 first look makes an entrance. Yes, you guessed it right—it's Corey Cash. Charismatic and assertive, with a smoldering look he walks in wearing a beige suit. Krystal then exclaims with a pleasant look on her face while she stares at Corey making an entrance and says, "I think I love it, love it."


Reasonable Doubt season 2: What to expect?

Defense lawyer Jax Stewart takes on a difficult murder case in Reasonable Doubt season 1 when her client Brayden Miller is suspected of killing Kaleesha Moore. With her investigating skills Jax discovers that Brayden is the murderer. Later he is declared non-guilty by the court, this shatters Jax as she starts questioning her ethics in law business.

Jax also manages her personal problems during the Reasonable Doubt season 1. With tackling an unsuccessful marriage with Lewis and trying to heal past traumas. Later in the season, Jax breaks up with her ex-lover Damon. Things take a dramatic turn as Damon kidnaps her, and later ends up taking his life after learning that he can't hurt Jax anymore.

With such a dramatic storyline and the arrival of Corey Cash (an experienced lawyer), things have just started to spice up for Reasonable Doubt season 2. This season on Hulu will all be about the next-level challenges for Jax, as she handles her best-friends Chanel's case. The trailer shows that her best friend kills her husband, and Jax jumps right in with Corey's help to open her previous files of domestic cases. In Reasonable Doubt season 2 Jax will determine whether her convicted friend is a survivor or a cold-blooded murderer.

Reasonable season 2 will be premiered on Hulu, on Thursday, 22 August 2024. The first two episodes will be released together, rest of the 10 episodes will follow to premiere each Thursday.
