Netflix’s Ransom Canyon wrapped up its Season 1 on April 17, 2025. In the episode, we saw Dan finally arrest Margaret, and Quinn decides to pursue her dreams and go to New York, which might not be appreciated by Staten.

Born on August 10, 1963, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Romero has been a part of many Hollywood projects due to her exceptional talent in makeup. A tribute dedicated to her was shown at the end of the western drama’s Season 1 finale, as she was one of the makeup artists and hairstylists in the Netflix series.
An official dedication on Instagram for Lori Romero was shared, which reads:
"It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Local 480 member, Lori Romero, who passed away recently. Lori, a native and lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, was born on August 10, 1963. Lori was a dedicated member for nine years, specializing in high-quality make-up & hair, and her talent and passion were a vital part of the movie industry. Her film family was everything to her."
The tribute continued:
"Known for her infectious laughter and her willingness to help anyone in need, Lori was everyone's best friend. She will always be remembered for her big heart and the joy she brought to those around her."
A memorial service hosted by her family had took pace in a church in Albuquerque, which is also one of Ransom Canyon’s filming locations.

Apart from that, she was also part of the makeup department for the movie The Harder They Fall, and also the head of the make-up department for Butch Sassidy and the Wild Bunch. She is also named as a makeup artist in the upcoming film, Coyote vs. Acme.
Lori Romero is survived by a son named Julian Anzures. Her family members include her sister, Annette, and brother, Carl.
