Lainey Wilson, a country musician, showed up on the set of Yellowstone in Montana to play the role of Abby, a family friend of the Duttons who was also a country singer. Her character was written by Sheridan with her name specifically on his mind and when she joined the cast of Yellowstone, she was already a rising Nashville star.
It was technically Wilson's first encounter with acting barring her tryst with acting in high school. Talking about her landing the role of Abby in Yellowstone, she said,
“When it comes to learning lines, I had never done anything like that. It goes back to Taylor Sheridan believing in me and believing that I could and seeing something in me before I saw it in myself.”
As the Yellowstone Season 5 part 2 finale dropped on December 15, 2024, and that wrapped up Abby’s character in the show, let us now explore Lainey Wilson’s personal life and whether she is married or has a boyfriend.
Does Lainey Wilson from Yellowstone have a husband?
While Lainey Wilson is not married yet, she is in a long-term relationship with her boyfriend Delvin “Duck” Hodges. The couple has been together since 2021, but due to Wilson being an extremely private person, their relationship was not exactly public knowledge till 2023.
In an interview with People in June 2023, Wilson said that she wanted to be sure if Delvin was with her for the right reasons. She also mentioned that as it turned out, he was. The couple walked the red carpet together at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards.
Talking about her partner and how loveable he is, Wilson said,
"He’ll FaceTime me, and he’ll be with HARDY and Morgan [Wallen] and Luke [Combs], and I’m like, ‘Stop stealing all my buddies.’ They’ll always be out golfing and drinking a beer. I don’t have to convince anybody to like him. He’s a very lovable person.”
The couple also appeared together on the red carpet of the 2024 Country Music Association Awards that took place in Nashville on November 20, 2024.

Who is Lainey Wilson’s boyfriend Delvin “Duck” Hodges?
Devlin Hodges, a former NFL quarterback, began his professional football journey as an undrafted free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019. Although his NFL career was brief, he went on to join the Ottawa Redblacks in 2021.
Nicknamed "Duck" by his football coach at Alabama's Samford University, Hodges is also an accomplished duck caller, winning the 2018 Alabama State Duck Calling Championship.
After stepping away from sports, Devlin transitioned to a new career in real estate in 2022, joining Mossy Oak Properties in Louisiana. His keen interest in real estate and hunting led him to this role where he helps his clients with,
“hunting camps, hunting land [and] farm land.”
Lainey and Delvin met through mutual friends and right from their first date, Lainey liked him. She said,
“We went to this old place called Silverados, and it had free beer and wine from 5 to 10 p.m. I was like, ‘This boy likes to ball on a budget too. This is gonna work out.’”
She also mentioned how supportive a partner Delvin is as he understands Lainey’s career and aspirations are extremely important to her.
Lainey Wilson was seen in the finale of Yellowstone as her character Abby was visibly on her way to stardom as a country singer. She finds Ryan in the crowd and after Ryan apologizes to her for choosing his ranch life over her, Abby gives him a kiss and it seems that the two might have some kind of a future together.
