From finished airing yet another exciting season on November 24, 2024. The third season’s finale titled "Revelations: Chapter Two" featured various twists and turns and ended on a surprising note, killing off one of the main characters.

However, rather than its ending, a different aspect of the From season 3 finale has become a topic of discussion among the viewers. The episode ended with a tribute to someone as a message on a black screen read, “This season is dedicated in loving memory to Jill Green.”

The message serves as a eulogy to Jill Green, who might have passed away during the production of the new season. However, nobody named Jill Green is directly involved in the show as a creative or cast member.

From creators have not yet confirmed who Jill Green was. Considering that the makers decided to dedicate a special tribute to her, she would have been someone who has worked on the show or was a close relative or friend of the show’s creatives.

After the season 3 finale aired, the first Jill Green who came up in everyone’s mind was the CEO and founder of Eleventh Hour Films. Though she is not attached to From in any capacity, she serves as an executive producer on another MGM+ project, the upcoming thriller series Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue.

Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue is being created by Anthony Horowitz, who is Green's husband. Since both the upcoming series and From are MGM+ shows, fans speculated if the Eleventh Hour Films founder Jill Green has been paid tribute.

Fortunately, she is still alive and healthy, so that rules out the possibility of a eulogy. The next person who could have been paid a homage in the season finale is Jill, the sister of director Jack Bender.

Bender has helmed several episodes of the sci-fi horror series, including the season 3 finale. The filmmaker lost his sister, named Jill, earlier this year, which could be the reason behind the tribute.

In March 2024, Bender shared a picture with his sister on Instagram, confirming her death. He wrote:

“My dear big sister Jill, who I will miss everyday. Love your brother, Jack.”

However, it remains to be confirmed if the director’s sister possessed the surname ‘Green.’ Hence, Jill Green in From season 3 is likely director Jack Bender’s sister; however, her identity remains to be confirmed by the series creators.

Fan theories around Jill Green in From season 3

Audience have been scratching their heads over who Jill Green could be, and she has become a topic of discussion on Reddit. One user pointed out:

“Most of the time you see this it is someone on the support staff who has died. A writer, gaffer, camera person, costume department etc.”

Another wrote:

“I was so into the episode that when i saw that i was like “who the f*** is that? What happen to her? (Like i really neeeded to know, like it was a mistery or part of the show).”

One fan also penned:

“Why in God's name would they throw Jill Green in there right after such an intense scene I mean God bless her and may she rest in peace whoever she was producer grip Etc but you would think they would just tell you instead of leaving us wondering like I'm doing it this moment.”

While the debate surrounding Jill Green’s identity continues, the show has already been renewed for a fourth season, which will begin filming in 2025 and likely hit the screens in 2026. Meanwhile, From seasons 1 to 3 are streaming on MGM+.
