RuPaul's Drag Race Season 17, Episode 8, aired this Friday on MTV. The ten remaining queens faced musical challenges based on the characters of Wicked, The Wiz, and The Wicked Wiz of Oz. After a dazzling runway performance, carrying their unique parasols, the queens impressed the judge's panel.

For episode 8, Jama Sims joined as the choreographer and Adam Lambert as the guest judge.

After the performances, the two acts that did not stand up to the mark were Kori King's Flying Monkey and Acacia Forgot's Kansas Dorothy. Unfortunately, these two queens had to battle it out in the lip-sync sound, and as the Badonka dunk had been removed, it was their last chance to redeem themselves. The queens performed guest judge, Adam Lambert's Wet Dream in the battle round.

As the battle ended, Acacia Forgot, who had previously been twice at the bottom, could not shine with her performance, saying goodbye to her RuPaul's Drag Race journey after episode 8. Acacia, who comes from a family of musicians, was confident in her musical talent before coming into the show.

However, her journey was cut short, as she could not bring an element of uniqueness to her performance.

“I’m not the dancing diva"- When RuPaul's Drag Race star Acacia Forgot opened up about not being a great dancer

Acacia Forgot, a 28-year-old drag queen from the sunny streets of San Jose, California, has honed the craft of musicality with time. With a passion for songwriting and singing, she exudes confidence in her musical talent.

Acacia playfully claimed during an interview with Entertainment Weekly that she was "born with a guitar in her hand before she could even walk," showcasing her lifelong love for music. By blending her musical performances with the art of drag, she wanted to create a powerful medium for self-expression, captivating audiences and leaving a lasting impact wherever she went.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly on January 4, Acacia shared how music is an internal part of life, but she kind of struggles with moving her body in the rhythm. Describing her music journey, RuPaul's Drag Race star said:

"Music is what gets me up in the morning. I just decided to fuse it with drag, writing music and performing, and that’s pretty much the only gigs I do.”

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Acacia revealed her charmingly self-deprecating take on her dancing skills. When talking about how well she could sync her moves to the music, she candidly confessed to feeling a bit like she had two left feet. Despite her drag queen prowess, she expressed a playful uncertainty about her ability to truly dance in harmony with the lyrics. She said:

“I’m not the dancing diva. I can barely stand. I’m the side-step queen of the season."

During the interview, RuPaul's Drag Race star also talked about the past winners - Bob the Drag Queen and Monét X Change's views on her comment about a live-singing queen winning the show this season. Acacia made this comment during the "Meet The Queens" interview. Bob and Monét took out an old song of Acacia and laughed at it while reviewing it.

She took the reaction humorously and had a hearty response. She said:

"We don't have to talk about it! I did hear about that. They laughed at my face. Girl, she listened to my music and she started laughing. But, I will say, that's my old music and it's not my favorite, but you can stream my new music on Apple Music, Spotify, and it's a lot better and a lot more me!"

RuPaul's Drag Race Season 17, Episode 8 aired on February 21, on MTV at 8 pm ET/PT.
