The Spanish thriller series Wrong Side of The Tracks (Entrevías) continues to engage viewers with its intense and gritty storyline. At the center of the show is a retired war veteran Tirso Abantos who's now a hardware store owner in Entrevías.

Who is Guillermo Salgado aka The Ghost in Wrong Side of the Tracks

Drug dealers, traffickers, and corrupt police officers are the real bad guys in Netflix's Wrong Side of The Tracks. While Tirso's quest to protect his family and track down Irene's murderer is the main plot of the show, it also focuses on ordinary people struggling against a corrupt system and drug dealers.

As mentioned previously, Wrong Side of The Tracks introduced Jordi Sánchez as The Ghost aka Guillermo Salgado, one of the highly manipulative gangsters. He used to manipulate people and buy their lands at cheaper prices, and even targeted Tirso.

However, he couldn't succeed in manipulating the retired war veteran but later trapped his daughter Jimena in his trap. Jimena has been an ambitious real estate agent and Slagado lied to her about making the neighborhood a well-developed area.

But in reality, he wanted to transform Entrevías into a hub of illegal business activities. Jimena, hoping to work for her community and the neighborhood fell for his plan. However, Salgado eventually met his end.

Being a mysterious figure, detectives were behind in finding out who The Ghost was and how he managed to hide his identity for long. Det. Amanda was the one who was determined to tack down Salgado and she finally identified him after an extensive search.

However, Salgado's influence and power made it hard for the detective and law enforcement to arrest him. Problems escaped when the criminal took Jimena and Irene as hostages. Following the threat, Tirso also arrived to save his daughter and granddaughter but it was Amada who killed Salgado.

She knew that Salgado would always find a way to escape justice, and death was the only way to end his reign of terror permanently. However, Salgado's death didn't mean Tirso's neighborhood would be free of crime, as new threats emerged.
