Bad Sisters returns for Season 2. The events in Season 2 pick up two years after the end of Season 1, in which Grace's abusive husband, John Paul, died. Season 2 of Bad Sisters marks a new beginning for Grace. It has been almost two years since she ran away from her husband and told the truth to her caring sisters, who hated him. Though by season 1’s ending Grace did not get her insurance money, at the very least the Claffin brothers did not go behind bars.

Season 2 Episode 1 of the show introduces some new characters. Ian is Grace's (almost) husband, Angelica is Roger's sister and seems to be one of the main characters this season, and there is a young detective called Houlihan who is so smart that the others underestimate her at work.

When is Fiona Shaw introduced in Bad Sisters?

After Jake's death, Bad Sisters Season 2 unfolds to help the sisters transition back into life. A scene at the racecourse, where Grace's bachelorette party is taking place, is where Angelica is introduced first.

Ursula is flirting with a handsome jockey. Bibi and her wife discuss the possibility of a second child. Everything seems to be going well until Roger arrives with his sister Angelica.

Roger seems sweet and sad, still pining for Grace but burdened with the guilt of having helped her cover up JP's death. Angelica brings a very different energy. She seems overly cheerful, quickly changing her expression as she responds to Grace's awkward, apologetic remarks about losing touch.

Later, Grace describes Angelica's presence as "suffocating," which is accurate. At Grace's wedding, when Angelica pushes Eva to the ground to grab the bouquet, a more aggressive side begins to emerge.
