Tulsa King, the American crime comedy-drama created by Taylor Sheridan, is back with season 2. Fans were anticipating the show's return after the cliffhanger finale of season 1.

The show follows Dwight "The General" Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone), a Capo in the Invernizzi family who has just served 25 years in prison. His boss sends him to Tulsa.

In Tulsa King Season 1, Dwight has a complicated romantic relationship with Stacy Beale (Andrea Savage). Stacy is an ATF agent who has transferred from the New York Bureau with its Anti-Terror Squad and O.C. Task Force.

Her anti-terror force targets local militia groups to fight The General. Even though they are on opposite spectrums of the law, the two are attracted to each other, which causes Stacy an ethical dilemma.

Her involvement in a romantic relationship with a mob boss threatens her career as an ATF agent, leading to her shocking betrayal in Tulsa King Season 1.

Did Stacy betray Dwight at the end of Tulsa King Season 1?

Dwight had a complicated relationship with Stacy throughout Tulsa King Season 1. After leaving prison after 25 years and learning all that was in vain, he was trying to start afresh with her daughter and had also opened a casino when this betrayal hit her.

The season finale saw Dwight and Stacy fighting against Caolan Waltrip, the leader of Black Macadams. He shoots a bullet, which hits Stacy, but she is rushed to the hospital and saved.

Through season 1, Stacy is torn between her career and her feelings for Dwight. It looked like the two had finally made up for good, and she chose Dwight when he visits her in the hotel.

In a selfless act for the one person he actually cares for apart from his daughter, Dwight gives Stacy a flash drive with $1 million, which he stole from Caolan.

However, accepting that money and reconciling with Dwight would end her career with the ATF because of her involvement with a known felon.

She chooses her career and betrays Dwight by handing the flash drive to ATF. Dwight is arrested for attempted bribery of a federal agent.

What does Stacy's betrayal mean for Dwight in Tulsa King Season 2?

Season 2 was much anticipated after that shocking betrayal of Stacy towards Dwight. Season 2 started with Dwight defending himself in the court, and episode 3, titled Oklahoma v. Manfredi, was to seal his fate.

In Tulsa King Season 2 Episode 3, Dwight finally learns the court's verdict on Stacy's accusation. He overviews the court and the jurors about their relationship, hook-ups, and the final attack.

He turns the accusation on Stacy's head when he claims that the bribery he is accused of was, in fact, a 'gift' to his dear friend who saved his life and took a bullet for him.

The government cannot trace the drive back to Dwight, and his arguments seemed strong, considering their relationship history, which he just repeated for the court.

The court takes some time off for its decision, during which the two have a conversation. Dwight learns that she is being transferred to Anchorage, and this is goodbye for them.

While Stacy apologizes to Dwight, the court finds him not guilty, and he is now free to go. While Dwight is free, there is no confirmation on what will happen with their relationship or whether Andrea Savage will continue in Tulsa King, given Stacy's transfer.
