Hundreds of people die in the horror drama series Fear the Walking Dead. The total death toll in the entire series accounts for over 600 including zombified individuals.
Robert Kirkman and Dave Erickson produced the American post-apocalyptic horror drama television series Fear the Walking Dead for AMC. It is a spin-off of The Walking Dead, based on the same comic book series by Charlie Adlard, Tony Moore, and Kirkman. The show is the second edition of the Walking Dead franchise.
As a prequel, the first three seasons center on a blended family who experience the onset of the zombie apocalypse. The series turns its attention to Morgan Jones, an original character who meets the group's surviving members and new survivors in Texas starting in the fourth season.
Fear the Walking Dead debuted on August 23, 2015. The showrunners for seasons four through eight were Ian Goldberg and Andrew Chambliss, who replaced Erickson for the first three. The show ran for eight seasons and 113 episodes and concluded on November 19, 2023. The series was originally set in Los Angeles but filmed in Georgia, Texas, Vancouver, Canada, Mexico, and Los Angeles.
