Shark Tank investor, Kevin O'Leary, has often talked about how entrepreneurship is not an easy pursuit but rather, a demanding job that takes time and energy with true passion. Sometimes, these sacrifices can often affect personal relationships.

Discussing the same, Kevin shared a story of a young entrepreneur who was struggling to choose between his fiancé and his multi-millionaire dollar business.

He reminisced about a conversation in a classroom where a student who had stayed relatively quiet during the entire course period spoke up and revealed about his business which is making $5 million a year.

However, his trouble is coming from his personal life as he is unable to make time for anyone which is affecting his fiancé. The Shark Tank investor said that he was intrigued by this notion and gave his advice to the kid. He said:

"Well, I'm gonna give you some advice. Which one is easier to replace? You're fiancé or your business? Because she is clearly, not the right one for you. She doesn't understand your mandate.

O'Leary added:

She doesn't support you as a matter of fact. And I would think by now, all these beautiful women in the class over here just heard you make $5 million bucks a year. They'd love to be your fiancé. So I bet, somehow, this is gonna work out for you."

Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary solves a relationship problem for a young entrepreneur

Kevin O'Leary, the Shark Tank investor, talked about how a kid in one of the classes shared his problem with him. He was an engineering student who had a "cloud-based software business that allows hedge fund managers with less than $250 million in management to be compliant with the regulator."

He explained that his platform charges the users every month in the form of a subscription. Revealing his annual revenue, he said he makes $5 million in cash a year.

Kevin was intrigued by the young entrepreneur's dedication to building a successful business from the comfort of his dorm room. He didn't think there was a problem at all. But the student continued and said:

"Well, my fiancee came to me today and said that I've got to make a choice because I have no time for on the weekends, I don't go to any soccer games with the family, I missed last weekend's picnic, I work all day, all night. I sleep 4 or 5 hours a night because I have to run both things. I gotta graduate. And I don't know what to do."

He had been given an ultimatum by his fiancé who doesn't think he is spending enough time with her. The Shark Tank investor then pointed out the "replaceable" part. He asked him which was easier to swap, his business or the fiancé.

Pointing out that there are a bunch of beautiful girls in that same classroom right now who have heard him talk about the successful business, and would be willing to his fiancé. Kevin thinks that it will work out for him in the long run.

Following this advice, Shark Tank's Kevin says that there was a debate in the classroom. Ultimately, what happened with the student's relationship is still unknown to Kevin. However, he believes that they broke up and mentioned that the kid is very successful now.
