A British series, KAOS is a black mythological comedy-drama created by Charlie Covell. It was released on Netflix in August 2024 and consists of eight episodes. KAOS is a reimagination of Greek and Roman Mythology in contemporary times.
The plot revolves around three mortals who find themselves caught up in a prophecy while handling crooked and conceited ancient gods. The show revolves around the ancient and arrogant god Zeus, who keeps the ancient god Prometheus in confinement for defying him.
When Zeus finds a wrinkle on his head, he soon begins to fear his ultimate end. Prometheus acts on his plan to bring down Zeus. Little does Zeus know that his family members, Hera, Hades, Dionysus, and Poseidon, are also plotting against him.
The series cast features Jeff Goldblum as Zeus, Aurora Perrineau as Eurydice, Cliff Curtis as Poseidon, Janet McTeer as Hera, David Thewlis as Hades, Rakie Ayola as Persephone, Killian Scott as Orpheus, Leila Farzad as Ariadne, Stephen Dillane as Prometheus, Debi Mazar as Medusa, and Nabhaan Rizwan as Dionysus.

1) Leo - Zeus
When you talk about Leos, you can't look away from Zeus. He is the king of the celestial jungle and the king of gods. Leos are generally seen as vivacious and theatrical and are known to embrace their royal traits. And this is Zeus, bashful, proud, vivacious, and a lover of his royal status.

3) Pisces- Euridyce
Euridyce, or Riddy as she's known in the show, is Orpheus's wife. She thinks her husband is unhappy with their marriage. Pisces are known to be emotional and passionate. They are also known for making bonds that go beyond the human realm.
In the series, Riddy's character explores her story's relationship with the gods and its connection to her husband. Her actions throughout the show reflect her strong emotions and passion towards her husband.
4) Taurus - Poseidon
Although the Greek god Poseidon is related to Pisces because of his varied emotional state and connection to water and earth, the show portrays him as a relaxed person on a Yacht.
Taurus are seen as relaxed people with an easygoing lifestyle and a knack for treating themselves lavishly. Poseidon is portrayed exactly similarly with a lavish yacht.
5) Scorpio - Orpheus
Scorpios are often misunderstood. They have emotional experiences and innate wisdom due to those experiences. Orpheus of yesteryear was a poet and a musician who played the lyre.
In the modern world, he is a rock star with a heart of gold and a massive ego. As his life takes a sharp turn Orpheus reflects on his ego, thus showing us how he is a true Scorpio.
6) Aries - Hera
Hera, Zeus's wife, is a strong woman who has kept a secret from her husband for a long time. Aries are seen as bold and ambitious, which match Hera's characteristics.
The Queen of the gods deals with affairs regarding the gods' losing their powers and keeps a secret from Zeus. This shows that, just like Aries, she is headstrong and capable of making bold decisions.
7) Sagittarius - Dionysus
In Greek mythology, Dionysus is known as Zeus' favorite son, the god of wine and pleasure. He is often related to the Sagittarius zodiac, and in the show, we can see the Sagittarius in him. Sagittarius are often known to be fun-loving and easygoing but have quite an innate thirst for knowledge.
In the show, the party is wherever Dionysus is, thus reflecting his fun-loving behavior. However, as the show moves along, he also finds a larger purpose, which might raise him in the eyes of his father.
8) Capricorn - Medusa
KAOS shows an interesting representation of Medusa in the show. In the afterlife, post-death, she has lost the ability to turn people into stone. She now works in the underworld as middle management for the dead.
She displays perseverance and patience. As she coordinates with a revolutionary group that threatens Zeus' role, she is shown as someone who bides her time, waiting for the correct opportunity to strike.
9) Virgo - Hades
Virgos are seen to be systematic, logical, and extremely pragmatic. Hades in KAOS is shown to imitate an instrumental bureaucrat. Virgos are also known to be connected to the material world and with Hades being a god who directly deals with mortals who belong to the material world, he fits in as a perfect Virgo.
10) Cancer - Persephone
Persephone is the wife of Hades, whom he took as a child bride. Cancers are always seen to exist in both the material and the emotional realm, often balancing one with the other.
They are also known to be very protective of their emotions and those who love them. The same is the case with Persephone. She is very loving of Hades but hates his family. She tries to protect herself and Hades emotionally by trying to quash rumors about their marriage.
11) Libra - Ari/Ariadne
Libra is directly related to the Greek goddess Aphrodite. Aphrodite, the goddess of love, is known to be compassionate, vain, and a bit self-centered. Ariadne shows her compassion as the constant guilt of causing her brothers' death eats her away.
She is also extremely wealthy, the daughter of the President of Krete, and is known to have a lot of vanity around her. Her guilt, coupled with her wealth and isolation, displays her compassionate heart but also her vain ways.
12) Gemini - Caeneus
Caeneus used to be a mortal who now works in the underworld. Geminis are seen as ingenious, spontaneous, playful, and passionate. Many see all of that in Caeneus.
While carrying the baggage of not being able to cross over, they still make connections, first with the mythical dog Cerberus and then eventually with Riddy as the prophecy plays out.
