House of the Dragon is a spin-off from the beloved Game of Thrones franchise and is based on the Targaryen civil war that was fought for control of the Iron Throne. From monarchy, battles, betrayal, romance, and mythical fire-breathing creatures, the story weaves together elements of fantasy and history into an epic narrative.
However, the story's most captivating feature would be the characters in it. Each one portrays raw emotion that leave you wanting more. Which House of the Dragon character are you based on your zodiac sign?
1) Aries - Aemond Targaryen
Starting strong on the list is the protagonist Rhaenyra Targaryen's half-brother, Aemond Targaryen. You may be perplexed as to how he's an Aries given how dark his character in the series is. But, he's an Aries through and through due to his very prominent traits of constant adaptation and bravery.
Apart from being vicious, his drive to be the best among the best is noteworthy.
2) Taurus - Ser Otto Hightower
The exiled Otto Hightower is truly fitting of being a Taurus given he's a knight. Known for their bravery and sound advice, Hightower often provides the king with wisdom and intellect. Furthermore, Taureses stay true to themselves when it comes to authenticity and ideals.
Other attributes include leadership qualities which Hightower greatly possesses! Under the pressure of securing his loved ones, Hightower displayed exemplary critical thinking and remained calm throughout.
3) Gemini - Daemon Targaryen
It doesn't get any more Gemini than Daemon Targaryen given his presence on the show. Daemon is known to be relentless, spontaneous, and incredibly self-aware about whatever's happening around him. Daemon definitely gives main character energy.
But, his dark aura causes one to remain cautious around him being an heir to the throne, it's natural he became bitter over losing everything he thought he'd get. On a positive note, he perseveres and is ambitious in all he does.
4) Cancer - Ser Criston Cole
Another knight in shining armor is none other than Ser Criston Cole. Cole's character couldn't be more Cancer-like given his thoughts to protect every queen just like he would protect his mother.
Do note that Cancers have great maternal instincts and hence make great protectors. Furthermore, since he also serves royalty, being loyal is literally in his blood.
5) Leo - Rhaenyra Targaryen
Leos are known for being natural-born leaders who are charismatic and dramatic. Well, who better to claim that title than the rightful Queen of the Seven Kingdoms herself? Rhaenyra Targaryen's storyline has been through a great deal of evolution. From constant underestimation to ruling the dragons and a kingdom - she's a force of nature.
Being a Leo, she is fearless yet enchanting in the most literal manner. Be it a conversation with a loved one or bellowing orders to an army, she excels at whatever task she is up to. Her passion and drive to do what's best for the kingdom closely resonates with the traits of a Leo.
6) Virgo - Corlys Velaryon
Virgos are generally busy bees with hectic schedules and deadlines—an attribute fitting for Corlys Velaryon. Given he slowly became the richest house in the seven kingdoms, he really mustn't have had time for anything else. Corlys was often seen as tactical and logical when making big decisions.

8) Scorpio - Daeron Targaryen
When it comes to being an enigma, the House of the Dragon fandom would agree that Daeron Targaryen takes the title. The youngster of the family is yet to be cast but appears to already have an ethos laid out for him. Born of royalty, he's barely made an appearance on the screen.
But, since he's a Scorpio, his presence has created quite a buzz about the kind of person he really is. Scorpios tend to keep to themselves and are generally very independent. If he's anything like his dad, he's possibly gotten the gene for being patient.
9) Sagittarius - Gwayne Hightower
Another member of the Hightower family joining the list is Gwayne Hightower. He fits the bill perfectly as a Sagittarius due to his relative boldness and strong will. No matter what battle he's faced, he charges his sword first and is fearless. For Gwayne, honesty has been his key attribute just like a true Sagittarius.

Being a peacemaker and not a war-mongerer, Laenor thrives on cultivating qualities of gentleness and warmth. Although he loves the people around him, Laenor tends to keep to himself most of the time and doesn't usually speak unless spoken to.
12) Pisces - Aegon Targaryen
Aegon is perhaps one of the most beloved characters of the show who grew to be a favorite in time. His ability to alter his maturity in different variations is rather unique. Not just that, being a member of Pisces, he rarely tolerates being pushed around.
Additionally, he's also very expressive about his thoughts and emotions - something that wasn't well-received in the presence of royalty. Aegon also holds the belief of being right in all situations.
