Reacher season 3 will feature some deadly challenges for Jack Reacher as the self-proclaimed hobo comes across a new set of formidable villains. The Prime Video series, based on Lee Child’s novels, is returning to the screens on February 20, 2025.
Every season of the show introduces a new set of characters as Jack travels to a new spot and takes up a different mission. The third chapter is also going to have a relatively fresh cast with a Chicago Med star joining the ensemble.
Actor Brian Tee, who played Dr. Ethan Choi in eight seasons of the NBC medical drama, will be seen playing the antagonist Quinn in Reacher season 3. The actor’s casting was announced in March 2024.
Chicago Med star Brian Tee is joining Reacher season 3
Brian Tee has been confirmed to play Quinn, a former Lieutenant Colonel, in Reacher season 3. The character is described as having a strong physicality and an intimidating personality. During his time in the army, Quinn was accused of selling confidential military information to other nations.
The incident happened 10 years before the events of the show. At the time, he was investigated by Jack Reacher, who also served in the US Army military police. Their shared past is only going to make the story more engaging in the new season.
Now that the two are going to encounter each other again, Quinn is expected to pose a severe threat to Jack and might want to seek revenge for the investigation. His physical strength and army experience make him an even more deadly opponent for the lead.
In Reacher season 3, Jack is on a mission to rescue a DEA informant. However, the operation turns deadly as the hobo learns some violent secrets and gets involved with a criminal enterprise while also being haunted by his past.
Along with Tee, a number of other actors have also joined the cast of Reacher season 3, and are expected to impress the audience with their performances. Anthony Michael Hall has been cast as Zachary Beck, a villainous businessman who smuggles drugs.
Johnny Berchtold will play Richard Beck, Zachary’s son with a traumatic past. Daniel David Stewart will star as Steven Elliot, a rookie DEA agent who is still learning how to succeed at his job. Sonya Cassidy will play Susan Duffy, a tough and intelligent DEA agent.
Roberto Montesinos will portray Guillermo Villanueva, an aged DEA agent who acts like a father figure to Susan. The upcoming season is based on Persuader, the 7th book in Lee Child’s novel series.
