Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone finally came to a befitting conclusion, and the saga of the Dutton Ranch came to a satisfying end too.
The train station where the Duttons dispose of their enemies' dead bodies is an important location for the show. As told by Lloyd, this station is uninhabited with no law, no jurisdiction, and nobody to account for the crimes they commit there.
Dutton enemies, like Garrett Randall and Wade Morrow, have all met their end there. While the scenes for this train station are shot at highway turnout on US-93 south of Darby in Sula, Montana, at Sula Peak Road 5727, it lies on the Montana-Wyoming border in the show.
While many would think that is purely a Sheridan creation, there exists such a place in real life where one could commit a perfect murder and get away with it.

The train Station in Yellowstone is inspired by a real place
While Duttons tossing their enemies onto the train station might look bizarre, it is actually inspired by a real-life place deemed the 'Zone of Death'.
The station is located in the Idaho section of the Yellowstone National Park and falls under the jurisdiction of Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. This 50 square miles of land has a population of zero.
Since the federal government has complete jurisdiction over this park, according to the Sixth Amendment, state laws do not apply there if a crime occurs. This would require the state to select an unbiased jury from the residents which is not the case as nobody lives there.
This makes the Zone of Death a loophole and the only place one could theoretically get away with murder in the US. Brian C. Kalt, a Michigan State University law professor, wrote an essay in 2005 titled, 'The Perfect Crime' to bring the attention of the authorities to this loophole and do something about it.
While there was no effort made to the same, it became an interesting setting for many movies and TV shows, including Sheridan's Yellowstone, where they toss their enemies.
Did anybody die on the train station in the Yellowstone Season 5 finale?
With such an iconic location, it was only fair for viewers to see it in the Yellowstone Season 5 finale one last time, and Sheridan did not disappoint.
After promising her father on his burial that she would avenge him, Beth set out to kill Jamie. And she fulfilled her promise to her father as she stabbed Jamie in the chest multiple times till she finally killed him. Satisfaction at last!
She had already made a plan to blame Jamie for everything and called 911 to tell them how Jamie ordered Sarah to hire someone to kill John. While the police charged Jamie with abuse and violence and started their search for him, Rip and Lloyd tossed his body into the Zone of death with the other Dutton enemies, where he will perish forever, unnoticed by anybody.
