Boston Rob, The Traitors alum, has been working on another project: his family. He has been seen on one reality TV show or the other for decades, such as Deal or No Deal Island, and it is hard to hear his name and not associate it directly with the show Survivor.

Boston Rob has been on it six times; he won it once with his wife, Amber Mariano. That is where the two met in the early 2000s and tied the knot in 2005. The couple has four daughters together.

Rob is 49 years old right now. Before he was doing reality TV, the star got a degree in Psychology from Boston University in 1999. He has shared his love for hockey multiple times on TV as well as on his Instagram.

The Traitors star used to play the game on his college team and even coached them after graduating. But soon, after securing a spot at the nationals for his team Terriers as a first-time coach, Rob soon got the opportunity to star in Survivor, and that was a pivotal role in his career.

The Traitors star, Boston Rob - Where is he now?

The Traitors alum recently teased his fans about joining Survivor once again for season 50. However, it was soon pointed out by his followers that the post was made on an April Fool's Day and thus, is guaranteed to be fake.

Recently, Entertainment Weekly published a list of cast members confirmed for the new season of the show, and Rob's name was not on there, ruling out the possibility of him appearing again.

As The Traitors star pointed out, though, it would have been cool to see on season 50 given that he is turning 50 years old this year on December 25, 2025. He wrote in his Instagram caption, saying,

"Maybe I do have one more in me after all! 🏝️ ….it would be poetic. I’m turning 50 this year! 🔥 #Survivor50 🔥 @survivorcbs @cbstv"

Now that it is established that Boston Rob does not have any new projects lined up that have been revealed to the media yet, what does he do apart from reality TV? Rob owns a business with his wife, Amber, that focuses on home renovations. The two are also about to celebrate their 20th anniversary in April.

On other days, the Traitors star could be spotted golfing along with his buddy from Survivor, Dylan Efron. His oldest daughter, Lucia, might also be exploring this sport, as is evident from his Instagram posts, along with Carina.

He recently shared a post featuring his two daughters and reminisced about the days when he and his brother Mike Mariano used to play hockey together. The Traitors star wrote on his Instagram,

"Practice Practice Practice⛳️ #CarinaRose has entered the chat with her Big Sister #LuciaRose #Sisters I remember as a kid playing in the same summer #hockey 🏒 league team with my brother Mike! Literally the best memories playing sports with siblings! #Brothers"

Boston Rob seems to follow the words of Vin Diesel and taught his kids that family is the most important thing ever. Talking about this sentiment in a podcast with First Class Fatherhood, he said,

"We spend a lot of time together as a family. We spend so much time together because we want to. I think thatthe family aspect is the most important part of what I'm teaching my kids. I always tell them no one is going to be there for you like your family is."

All seasons of The Traitors are streaming on Peacock right now.
