Prime Target is the newest addition to Apple TV+’s already long list of fascinating shows. The thriller series revolves around a genius post-graduate mathematician, Edward Brooks, who is about to have a breakthrough in his research.
Brooks has found a pattern in prime numbers, using which he can access any computer across the globe. However, a shadowy figure tries to stop him, which leads him down a thrilling path that uncovers some surprising conspiracies and mysteries.

Prime Target was entirely filmed in England, majorly at these four places:
1) Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England
The series was filmed across several locations in Cambridge in eastern England in August 2023. Being a home of some important educational institutions, the city served as the perfect backdrop for a show that revolves around a mathematician.
The production team shot some scenes at The Backs, a scenic park at Queen's Road; Garret Hostel Lane, a bridge over the River Cam; and Free School Lane, a historic street housing some buildings of the University of Cambridge.
Other locations from the city that feature in Prime Target are Trinity Lane, a street that passes through the University of Cambridge; and St John's College, a prestigious college in the university.
2) Kent, England
The ceremonial county of Kent located in South East England also served as a filming location for Prime Target. The shoot took place at the Eurotunnel Le Shuttle terminal building, with some scenes also being filmed with the help of drones.
Additional sequences were filmed at Little Cheyne Court Wind Farm. Situated on Romney Marsh, the farm features 26 wind turbines and is utilized to produce green energy. Kent’s rich history and picturesque landscapes make it an ideal place for filming.
3) Windsor, Berkshire, England
Prime Target was filmed in Windsor as well. The historical town is located in the Royal County of Berkshire and is known for housing the Windsor Castle, an official residence of the British monarch. The show’s team filmed some sequences on-location in the town, especially at Alma Road.
4) London, England
Lastly, the series was shot in London, the capital of England. The city is a television and film production hub that features major studios, facilities, and artists. Hence, the show's crew likely chose to film some additional sequences in London due to ease of production.

Prime Target revolves around a cat-and-mouse game between a mathematician and his enemy who wants to hinder his path-breaking research. The mathematics student seeks help from a special agent to find out the motive of his enemy, which reveals some dark secrets. The official synopsis for the show by Apple TV+ reads:

The show stars Leo Woodall in the lead role of Edward Brooks. He is joined by Quintessa Swindell as Taylah Sanders, David Morrissey as Professor Robert Mallinder, Stephen Rea as Professor James Alderman, Sidse Babett Knudsen as Professor Andrea Lavin, and Martha Plimpton as Jane Torres.
The cast also includes Jason Flemyng, Harry Lloyd, Ali Suliman, Joseph Mydell, Fra Fee, Daisy Waterstone, Sofia Barclay, and Tom Stourton. The series was created by Steve Thompson and directed by Brady Hood.
