Along with the murder accusations, Lori is also accused of being involved in the attempted murder of her niece's ex-husband, Brandon Boudreaux, and the death of her fourth husband, Charles Vallow.
Lori's case received tremendous attention as a result of her children's sad abduction and murders, as well as her relationship with Chad Daybell, her fifth husband. The pair gained notoriety for their apocalyptic views, which include ideas about "zombies" and the end of the world.
Tylee and JJ vanished without a trace in 2019, and their bones were found buried on Chad's Idaho ranch in June 2020. This finding resulted in their arrests. Lori claimed to have gotten visions from God concerning their future, including their release from prison.
