Where was Got to Get Out filmed? Location Explored

Got to Get Out, the new reality TV series, premiered exclusively on Hulu on April 11, 2025. In this show, contestants who appeared on previous shows, such as Real Housewives and The Bachelor, take part in a game of deceit, lies, and alliances. Similar to the concept of The Traitors and Million Dollar Secret, in this competition series, contestants stay in a mansion disconnected from the outside world.

Their main goal is to raise the pot money by completing different challenges and tasks. Each contestant is given an option to take the money and try to escape the mansion by attempting to run away with it. Got to Get Out was filmed at the Foxley Green Estate, which is an 80-acre property in King Township, Ontario. Approximately 30 miles north of Toronto, the property extends to 21,630 square feet as it incorporates European-style architectural design.

Hosted by Simu Liu, this series gives a glimpse into the rivalry, drama, and conflicts between contestants as they compete to secure their position in the competitive game. The show synopsis mentions the overall format of the competition series, stating:

"Participants living in a mansion for 10 days vie for a cash prize that increases by $1 each second they’re in the game. As contestants compete in physical and mental challenges, more money will be added to “the pot,” with up to $1 million at stake."

The Got to Get Out mansion is located in a secluded area, providing a luxury experience to the contestants as well as a cozy interior. It looks like a retreat by being in nature while also having winding hiking trails, fish ponds, a waterfall alongside "nearby amenities, superior schools, restaurants, and highways."

According to the Dolce Magazine 2017 article, John Dunlap from Moffat Dunlap Real Estate shared details of the inspiration behind building this mansion. He stated that the "large fireplaces, tapestries, art, and incredible stonework" were heavily influenced by European architecture. John continued:

“The primary inspiration for this stone home came from the time the owners spent living in England and travelling throughout Europe. They were very inspired by the high ceilings, beautiful finishing craftsmanship, large fireplaces, tapestries, art and incredible stonework found in the historic homes. They loved the idea of a grand room for entertaining, but one that family and guests could be very comfortable in.”

The Got to Get Out mansion consists of a massage room, indoor pool, billiards room, exercise area, grand living room, private pond, walk-in closet, gardens, private laundry, and more facilities. The property was listed at $24.95 million, but as of 2025 is no longer on the market.
