Kaitlin Olson is all set to make another appearance in High Potential after It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Drew Goddard created the new Hulu series, which is based on the French show Haut Potentiel Intellectuel.
Olson plays Morgan, a cleaning lady for the Los Angeles Police Department. While they ''accidentally '' discover her high intellect, she is hired as a consultant for the LAPD's Major Crimes division.
Morgan will also use this newfound job to her advantage, investigating the mysterious disappearance of her first boyfriend and the father of her daughter, Ava.
Based on the four episodes, the show landed a solid rating of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes. Currently, High Potential enjoys a neutral rating of 6.9/10. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Olson's acting in the series is praiseworthy. High Potential is worth watching for its stellar cast.
If you are interested in watching a single mother with an IQ of 160 solving cases, you can check out the first four episodes of the show, which have been released thus far. Here is how to watch and stream the show online.
What is the plot of High Potential?
The show's synopsis, according to IMDb, reads as follows:
''Follows Morgan, a single mom of three kids and how thanks to her exceptional mind, she is able to help to solve a crime as she rearranges evidence during her shift as a cleaner for the police department.''
The show's synopsis will remind viewers about the popular series The Mentalist, which also features cases with a single person's mind. High Potential also features cases solved through Morgan's exceptional mind.
Morgan will team up with a by-the-book seasoned detective, Karadec. Crime is a genre where we seldom see female protagonists taking charge. With Morgan at the center of it all, it seems like High Potential will be one of those dramas. We love a female lead!
It will also be interesting to see her juggling motherhood with her part-time detective duties.
Kaitlin Olsen will play the titular role. Daniel Sunjata will portray Adam Karadec, Morgan's partner. Other cast members include:
- Javicia Leslie as Daphne
- Deniz Akdeniz as Lev "Oz" Osman
- Amirah J as Ava
