The Traitors, a fans' favorite, is all set to come out with another season. After achieving success in two seasons of this show, Season 3 will debut on Peacock on January 9, 2025. Peacock made the announcement of the return of the reality TV show with another season.
Hosted by Alan Cumming, this thrilling reality competition gathers contestants from across the United States. Most participants are secretly assigned as faithful, while a few are chosen as traitors. The group must complete various missions together, but the ultimate goal is to identify the traitors before they sabotage the team and claim the $250,000 cash prize for themselves.
Season 3 of the show includes 21 contestants, out of which three would be picked as the secret players or "the traitors". These three players would be introduced to the audience in the premiere of the show itself.
What is the cast lineup for The Traitors Season 3?
The show won its first Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Reality Program. And now The Traitors is all set to bring together a group of 21 celebrities and reality stars. Peacock posted a cast reveal video on YouTube where Alan Cumming is seen introducing the cast to the fans, himself.

Is The Traitors renewed for more seasons?
After winning another Emmy Award for The Outstanding Reality Competition Program of the Year, Peacock announced the renewal of The Traitors for season 3 in February 2024. However, to fans' surprise, the channel made another announcement later this year in August 2024. They confirmed that the show will be coming back with two more seasons.
Both season 4 and 5 will be hosted by Alan Cumming himself with a lot more twists, suspense, and drama.
This season is different than past seasons due to the larger celebrity names and bigger reality TV fan favorites in the cast — which translates into fans being more hyped. The producers, Studio Lambert, along with the executive producers, Stephen Lambert, Mike Cotton, Sam Rees-Jones, Rosie Franks, Jack Burgess, and Tim Harcourt have talked about complex missions, intensified challenges, and plots that would leave the fan intrigued.
With a mature production team and an all-star cast list, Season 3 is sure to serve all the mind games, betrayals, and high-stakes dramas one could ask for. With tons more suspense to keep fans on the edge of their seats, shocking eliminations, and jaw-dropping twists, there's plenty for fans to sink their teeth into.
The Traitors Season 3 is all to premiere on January 9, 2025 on Peacock.
