The trailer for Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta promises several dramatic storylines and some new housewives. After a hiatus, Bravo’s reality show is returning with some new faces and some familiar ones. Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta premieres on March 9. While Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, and Drew Sidora have been retained from earlier seasons, Phaedra Parks, who has only appeared occasionally on the show, will also be featured. New housewives are Brit Eady, Kelli Ferrell, Shamea Morton Mwangi, and Angela Oakley.

Cynthia Bailey, who was a full-time housewife from Seasons 3 to 13, will appear as a friend. While Kenya is shown in the trailer, she exited the series after a photo scandal implicated her in publicly showing explicit images of co-member Brit Eady.

“I think people have been waiting a long time to see what we’ve done. We’ve got great new housewives. We’ve got the return of Porsha. We’ve got the return of Phaedra. Shamea is a full Housewife. I mean, she’s someone that we’ve been seeing for years and years, but seeing her in this way is totally a breath of fresh air”

The Season 16 trailer of Real Housewives of Atlanta shows Porsha walking into her divorce attorney’s office. According to a report, Porsha filed for divorce from her husband of 15 months, Simon Guobadia, in February last year. The couple has been in disagreement over some key assets. In the trailer, Porsha reveals that Simon scammed and defrauded her.

Kenya’s scandal is also teased in the trailer as she is seen showing NSFW pictures of Brit to her cast members at a party, and Cynthia also says that it couldn’t go ‘any lower.’ Brit is also seen weeping in her mansion after the party.

The trailer of the show also teases a girl’s trip to an undisclosed location; the housewives seemingly get into heated arguments during the trip, and Phaedra and Kelli are seen sharing some tensions at the dinner table. The trailer also shows more drama involving Porsha as it’s revealed that Dennis McKinley, the father of Porsha’s child, is working as a producer for Drew, who’s a singer. In the trailer, Porsha can be seen arguing with Dennis over speculation that he had an intimate relationship with Drew.
