When will Rhythm + Flow Season 2 come out? Release date, trailer and more revealed

Rhythm + Flow is all set to release its Season 2 on Netflix after a successful Season 1 on November 20 2024.

In this one-of-a-kind music competition, hip-hop superstars from across the nation compete to be crowned as hip-hop's rising star and win a cash prize of $250,000.

Unlike the first season, the fans would have to be a little patient as this season will air in parts. On November 20, fans will get access to only the first 4 episodes of Rhythm + Flow. There will be two more batches of 3 episodes each that will be released weekly, on November 27 and December 4.

Who are the judges of Rhythm + Flow Season 2?

The debut season of Rhythm + Flow was judged by T.I., Chance the Rapper, and Cardi B. This time though, the contestants will perform in front of Latto, DJ Khaled, and Ludacris.

The producers of the show, Jesse Collins, and Dionne Harmon talk about their new judges' panel:

"This season features a powerhouse panel of judges, each with a distinct and influential role in hip-hop culture."

During the trailer of Rhythm + Flow Season 2, a few special guests were revealed too.

Eminem, who was previously announced as one of the judges on the show will be joining as a special judge. Additionally, Big Sean, Busta Rhymes, Mr. Porter, Royce Da 5'9", GloRilla, DJ Holiday, DJ Moe Beats and Remy Ma will also appear on different episodes of Rhythm + Flow Season 2.

Putting forward their best performances and taking up battles, this season also has a powerpack of contestants. The producers talked about them for Rhythm + Flow season and added:

"In this significant moment for the genre, the focus extends beyond the music alone. We’re seeking unconventional voices and authentic stories that peel back layers and invite fans to immerse themselves in the contestants’ world as we spotlight the continually evolving spirit of hip-hop."

Harmon further talked about finding the perfect talent for the show from across the country:

“You’d probably just automatically assume that in a music competition, the best singer is going to win, or the best rapper is going to win, and it’s so much more than that. And we see that in the industry right now. You have to have star quality. You can be the best rapper ever, but if you don’t command that stage and that audience, it’s not going to work.”

She added,

"And it’s hard to put your finger on it, but when you’re watching all of these videos people are sending in when we’re picking our initial group of contestants, that’s really true. Some people just stick out, and they just shine. You just have it in you. I don’t even know how to describe it, but you know it when you see it.”

Contestants on Rhythm + Flow Season 2, who will be fighting for the biggest title in Hip-Hop are Būnduke, C5, Calirant, Chyng Diamond, Christian LaNeve, Cody Ray, Detroit Diamond, Dono, DreTL, Honie Gold, Jacques Laine, Jay Taj, JayWop, Jaxs, Jesirae, K'alley, King Hoodie, Lex Lane, LG, Lil JSean, Liu Khang, Malaynah, Mizzy, Phatgirl, Quin Jaye, Rhome, SeeFour, Sura Ali, Sway Royal, Tia P., Tony Da Kidd, YGB Reaper, and Yoshi Vintage.
