Release and streaming details of Reacher Season 3 Episode 5

Reacher Season 3 Episode 5, titled 'Smackdown' will be released on Amazon Prime Video on Thursday, March 6, at 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET.

Season 3's previous episode ended with a cliffhanger where his partner and good friend Susan was about to enter the danger zone with Guillermo.

What happened in the previous episode?

Reacher Season 3 Episode 4 takes a break from Jack's previous mission and sheds light on his former partner's story, who died while investigating Quinn in the past.

Jack tells Dominique Kohl's story to Susan, who was a young officer assigned Quinn's case under Jack's guidance. Jack and Dom worked on Quinn's case in the past, especially his connection with a Syrian man, which was of national interest.

With Dom's presence of mind, they closed in on the Syrian man and asked him to give up Quinn's location. Before that, Jack got his hands on some military blueprints, which revealed Quinn's location. He let Dom make the final call to arrest Quinn.

But the plan went awry, and instead, Quinn captured Dom, before Jack could reach to save his partner, he found her hanging from the ceiling at Quinn's hideout.

Fueled by revenge for Dom's brutal death, Jack shot Quinn, who fell from a cliff into a flowing stream of water. However, he deduced that the bullet somehow missed his brain, and he managed to survive the fall and came back from the dead.
