Love Is Blind Habibi is here to kick off its debut season as Netflix brings Arabic culture into its stable of reality shows. The Arabic version of the dating franchise is set to premiere on October 10, 2024, exclusively on Netflix MENA(Middle Eastern and North African), and Netflix US. Netflix airs the fresh episodes generally at 3 am EST/ 12 am PST.
Love Is Blind Habibi will be a 9-episode series, and as the franchise format goes, the episodes are expected to be dropped in batches every Thursday. The show will give the fans an intriguing insight into Arabian customs, culture, local nuances, and the beautiful architectural backdrop of the metropolitan of Dubai, UAE. Netflix has been mindful of Middle Eastern audiences by incorporating the traditions and rituals of the Middle East in the modern dating show.
Netflix released the show's trailer on September 18, 2024, and introduced us to the hosts of the show, the famous Saudi TV sensation Elham Ali and her husband Khaled Saqr. The official synopsis of the trailer reads:
"Welcome to Love is Blind, Habibi! A social experiment where Arab singles look for love and get engaged before meeting face to face. Will their love win over cultural differences, careers, and family relations? Coming to Netflix, October 10."

Love Is Blind as a franchise was created by Chris Coelen in 2020, and the first season was a hit. The dating reality TV series based its concept on a social experiment where a bunch of singles were introduced to each other via pods.

As the trailer suggested, the format of the show will follow a similar route, accentuating more Arabic customs to make it palatable for Middle Eastern audiences.
