Tulsa King Season 2: Blu-ray release details
A month after its finale, Paramount+ announced that Season 2 will finally be available on Blu-ray and DVD. The two-disc Blu-ray and three-disc DVD will be released on March 18, 2025.
The edition will consist of two never-before-seen features, unseen footage, behind-the-scenes action on set, and cast interviews about the new characters and the future of the show.
While Paramount+ is yet to renew Tulsa King for Season 3, Stallone confirmed the third chapter through his Instagram in December.
In a recent interview with Collider, actor Martin Starr (Bodhi) gave an exciting update on the upcoming season:
"I mean, I've only just read the first two scripts. We start production next week. I can't tell you anything that I've read in those episodes, but I am excited. This new season is going to be a lot of fun. It looks already like there’s going to be a lot of action, and there are some loose ends that may or may not get tied up."
What happened in the Tulsa King Season 2 finale?
The Season 2 finale saw Dwight finally go legal in all his businesses, making the most of his promise of starting a fresh life. Bred2Buck and Even Higher Plane, his two businesses, are entirely legal now, and it remains to be seen how long he will manage to keep them legal.
Looks like Dwight is ready to change the trajectory of his life, which he proves by sparing Cal Thrasher's life in the finale. Considering that Cal attacked his wind farm and sabotaged his trail, Dwight spares his life in Season 2's finale because killing him would mean trouble. Instead, he takes ownership of his weed farm instead of his life.
Elsewhere, Bill Bevilaqua, the hit man hired by Chickie to kill Dwight, kills him instead in the finale. His action is prompted by greed, as he cuts a deal with The General and takes 50% ownership of Cal's weed farm.
The final moments of the Tulsa King Season 2 finale saw a shady SWAT team kidnapping Dwight and revealing that he works for them now. While the nature of their work will be revealed in Season 3, it is hinted that they are somehow involved with the US Government and need Dwight's expertise, likely for something illegal.
