Suits LA, the spin-off to the beloved American legal drama series Suits, has finally released its first look, and fans are filled with nostalgia.
Aaron Korsh's original series ran for nine successful years and focused on the Pearson-Hardman firm's attorneys. The duo of Mike Ross and Harvey Specter, winning lawsuits against all odds, was exciting to watch.
It looks like creator Aaron Korsch wanted to recreate the magic of his original legal series, set in New York, with Suits LA, which will take the lawsuits to the city of Los Angeles.
The original show had iconic storylines and a brilliant cast of actors, including Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Rick Hoffman, Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres, and Meghan Markle.
The fact that the new trailer will bring back memories of the original series makes it clear that the creator wanted to replicate the charm of the original show.
The spin-off will premiere on NBC on February 23, 2025, and will be available to stream on Peacock.

When does Suits LA come out? Exploring the trailer of the spin-off legal series
The first teaser trailer of the new spin-off is finally out, and it brings back the iconic tune of “Greenback Boogie,” which opened each episode of the original series for nine years.
While the teaser features no dialogue, only the tunes of Boogie, it can be inferred that the spin-off takes heavily from the original show.
Fans will remember the opening montage of the original series, in which glimpses of the main cast are shown against a beautiful and bustling New York City. The new teaser is also shot on similar lines, replacing the backdrop with LA.
The official synopsis of the show reads as follows:
“Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.''
By the looks of it, Ted Black seems to be the new Harvey Specter of the show, the brilliant prosecutor who will run the LA firm on his shoulders. The show takes place right after the events of the original series and may have some Easter eggs in the form of cameos and callbacks to the original Suits.
According to the IMDB episode guide, Season 1 will have a total of 10 episodes. No further information has been released about the episodes until now. The show will debut on NBC on February 23, 2025, and can be streamed on Peacock as well.
