Love is Blind: Habibi stars Asma and Khatab were among the six engaged couples who got engaged on the social experiment. The third episode featured an engagement between them. However, because Asma felt overwhelmed and unsure, the couple didn't move forward to the next phase.
The hosts revealed this during Love is Blind: Habibi Episode 4. After meeting Khatab for the first time, Asma felt "hesitant." Because of her uncertainty, the couple continued their journey outside the show. It was because the duo wanted to take things "slow."

However, during the show's fifth episode, Asma and Khatab surprised everyone by returning to the experiment.
"I'm back. We're back. We're back together again. We're super happy. Happy and excited," shared the couple.

After returning to the dating experiment, Asma revealed that she wanted to try because he was a "great" guy. The couple then had a private date, discussing various things. Asma admitted that she was very "stressed."
"After the reveal, because I was extremely stressed, I felt like I needed some time to think a little bit."
An old clip from the couple's time during the pods' date was played, where they could be seen talking about one thing in particular. In the clip, when Khatab asked about her choice of "physical attributes" she would like in her partner.
The Love is Blind: Habibi star revealed that she preferred an athletic partner who did "activities."
In response, Khatab admitted he "was" athletic and that he was trying to get back to his "normal lifestyle," and ended the clip.
During their date, Asma revealed,
"I would usually go for a fit guy, and this is…you know that, and I told you that in the Pod. And when I knew you, I realized that 'No, this is…This is all outside things, and they change.' I change. Even I become very fit, and sometimes I go a little bit overweight."
She added,
"So I don't think this is something that I will want to look into anymore, honestly, really."
She admitted that she felt a connection with Khatab. Asma told him that the reveal after the pods' dates was merely a "misunderstanding."
The male participant also shared how he felt that anyone's heart and mind were the most important parts.
"Looks do change. I mean, I was fit, I was super skinny and muscular, I was athletic, I was fat, I was high. Everything changes. Now we're here."
In her private confessional, Asma said she was happy and could see Khatab as a "very confident" guy.
They also discussed how everything was "God's plan," which Asma called "fortune." The couple then joked about having a "wall" between them, similar to the Pod walls.
Love is Blind: Habibi star revealed that the normal date was a "little bit" easier for him than the Pod dates, where they couldn't see each other.
"There are some beautiful things like when she smiles, I smile too because I remember our days in the pod."
Later in the social experiment, towards the finale, Asma and Khatab were among the three couples set to get married. Despite their surety about each other, Asma decided not to get married through this social experiment.
Love is Blind: Habibi star mentioned how her family members, especially her parents' consent, were very important to her. That is why, without her family by her side, she didn't want to get married to Khatab.
Hence, the couple agreed to see her parents and then plan for their future wedding and other things.
