The Korean drama, When Life Gives You Tangerines, premiered on March 7, 2025, and follows the story of a young rebellious girl from Jeju Island, Oh Ae-sun, played by K-pop star IU.
The heartwarming drama follows Ae-sun and Yang Gwan-sik’s (Park Bo-gum) story as they navigate their lives through numerous challenges. The episodes of the show are released in volumes containing four episodes each and are named after the four seasons.

When Life Gives You Tangerines Volume 4: Winter will premiere on March 28, 2025. Like the previous volumes of Spring, Summer, and Autumn, Volume 4 will also include four episodes: episodes 13, 14, 15, and 16.
The four episodes of Volume 4 will be available at 4 a.m. ET and 1 a.m. PT on Friday, March 28, for the US viewers. In Korea, the episodes will be available at 5 p.m. KST on the same day.
Volume 4 will be released on Netflix, as the drama series is only available on Netflix.

As per the trailer, the last four episodes will take us to a difficult winter that Ae-sun and Gwan-sik’s family faced. The trailer suggests yet another emotional time in the character’s life as we see conflict between the children and their parents.
Directed by renowned director Kim Won-seok, who is known for popular K-dramas such as My Mister, Signal, and Misaeng, the series also stars Moon So-ri and Park Hae-joon.

Volume 3: Autumn of When Life Gives You Tangerines depicts Ae-sun's daughter Geum-myeong’s life after she returns to Seoul from Japan.
The four episodes of the third volume capture Geum-myeong’s difficult love life, where she breaks off her engagement with her first love, Park Yeong-bum after repeated insults faced by her family.
It also highlighted Park Chung-seob’s growing fondness for Geum-myeong. However, the episode ended with a cliffhanger where Chung-seob ran behind Geum-myeong’s bus to finally confess his feelings for her.
The last set of episodes will finally let the viewers know if Geum-myeong ends up marrying her first love just like her parents or if fate had something else for Ae-sun’s daughter.
