Garret, 30, from Los Angeles, was eliminated on The Circle Season 7 Episode 11, which aired on September 25, 2024. The eleventh episode of the reality show Incoming Call featured "Circle blocking," which saw Garret as the player being blocked.
The elimination was revealed after Garret came in as the "bottom" rated player in previous episodes' "Circle ratings." Top-rated players, i.e., Kevin and Gianna (played by the Scarlotta twins), became the "influencers."
Being the influencers, they had the authority to select one of the fellow Circle participants and nominate them for elimination. As a result of a lengthy discussion, many disagreements, distrust, and many names, Garret's name finally emerged as the blocked player.
After his elimination from The Circle, the remaining contestants saw Garret's final message on the "News Feed." He could be seen sharing a few things via the video message, as he stated,
"The trend is the influencers just get rid of whoever is at the bottom. How am I, or anyone else at the bottom of the ratings, a threat to your game? What game are you playing? I don't have any regrets. I love the game I played. I had such an amazing time, and I'm so excited to hug some of you at the finale."
Garret shared having "no regrets" after his blocking on The Circle Season 7: Details explored
As per the ratings revealed on The Circle Season 7 Episode 10, Garret was placed at the bottom of the list. With Garret at the 7th—last position, he was an easy target for the influencers. As fans might already be aware, the top two participants from the Circle Ratings become "influencers." They are given the power to select one participant they can eliminate from the game.
As a result, the next episode featured Garret's elimination after the influencers chose him for the elimination/ blocking.
After being declared the "blocked" participant, Garret couldn't stop but wondered where his calculations went wrong. He also considered who could have betrayed him and his game, eliminating him.
Later in the 11th episode, Garret could also be seen reminiscing about how, for most "Circle blockings," the player rated "last" is chosen by the influencers for elimination. Like this time, he was at the bottom of the list for the current ratings.
"The bottom player has been blocked time and time again. Darian was in the bottom. Andy was in the bottom. I was in the bottom," Garret confessed.
Hence, the chances for Garret's elimination were quite strong, and the odds were not in his favor, as he ended up being "blocked."
What did Garret's final video message reveal on The Circle Season 7?
After Garret left the show the following day, as featured in the 11th episode, participants were notified about Garret's message. All the players went into the "News Feed" section of "The Circle chat," where they came across the video, where Garret could be seen saying,
"Hey everyone, it's me Garret. I am the circus acrobat. I am the cat dad. I am the crybaby. I came into The Circle as myself. I haven't always been comfortable with who I am, but now I am so proud of the person that I’ve become, and I wanted to share that with all of you."
He then shared a bit about his "strategy" for the show, as he didn't want to be "perceived" as the "game player."
"I felt like I was executing it well, so imagine my surprise when I'm sat here now. The influencers chose to get rid of me because it was a threat to "our game,"caccording to them."
Garret concluded his message by sharing that, while he was at the "bottom" of the ratings, he could not quite understand influencers' strategy that they felt the bottom player was a "threat" to their game. He added that he had no "regrets" and had an "amazing" time on the show.
