It all starts with Agatha Harkness pretending to be Wanda Maximoff's neighbor Agnes, who ends up on the Witches' Road in Agatha All Along to regain her powers. While it's evident that Agatha All Along is the direct follow-up to WandaVision, MCU's messy timeline, especially after Avengers: Endgame, has become confusing.

So, if you've been wondering where Kathryn Hahn's show fits in the MCU timeline, we've got you covered! The first hint about the latest Disney+ miniseries was dropped in the first episode, Seekest Thou the Road, in which Agatha starts as Agnes.

But this time, she isn't a nosy and quirky neighbor but a homicide detective in Westview. She's called to investigate the murder of a woman who had black-tipped fingers, just like powerful Marvel witches, including Wanda and Agatha.

As the episode progresses, we get two hints about how much time has passed since WandaVision. The first clue is the library card linked to the book Darkhold, stolen three years ago.

This clarifies that Agatha All Along is set three years after the events of Olsen's WandaVision. The other clue confirms this: Agnes asks Herb how long he has been in Westview, to which he says, "About three years." This is also when she remembers being the formidable Agatha Harkness. Keep reading to explore the series' place in chronological order in the MCU.

Agatha All Along, episode 1 was enough to explain when the miniseries takes place after WandaVision, which is years later. However, to understand its place in the MCU timeline, the order starts from Avengers: Endgame, after which the timeline has become quite complex.

Here's a breakdown of the events in chronological order in the MCU timeline:

1) Avengers: Endgame (2019): The film ends with the Avengers assembling and sacrificing themselves to reverse Thanos' actions and maintain universal balance.

2) WandaVision (Late 2023): The series began three weeks after the events of Endgame in which Wanda Maximoff or Scarlett Witch created the Westview Anomaly. While she's living the sitcom with Vision, Agatha Harkness enters as Agnes.

By the end of the series, Wanda defeated Agatha and condemned her to lead the Westview life. By October 2023, Wanda Maximoff got her hands on Darkhold after the sitcom world ended.

3) Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Late 2024): The film takes place about a year after WandaVision, as Scarlet Witch uses Darkhold to locate her twin sons in the multiverse. Her actions result in chaos and conflicts, after which she sacrifices herself to stop the repercussions.

4) Agatha All Along (Late 2026 - Early 2027): Kathryn Hahn's series begins with Agatha Harkness breaking out of her Westview person after Wanda's death. The clues, including the library card with Wanda's name and Herb's confirmation, explain a three-year gap between Olsen and Hahn's show on Disney+.

The series focuses on Agatha Harkness' quest to regain her powers, but thanks to Wanda's son Billy Maximoff, who didn't let this happen. Instead, the series ends with the coven and Agatha's death and transformation into a ghost.

Following the five-year time jump in the MCU timeline after the Snap, it became quite complex to determine when the stories in TV series and films are taking place. However, when it comes to Agatha All Along, it will be placed at the end of the list irrespective of the in-universe events or the actual release dates.

If you wish to watch Marvel TV series and films according to release dates or in-universe events, Hahn's series would be the last. The series ended with Joe Locke's Teen as Billy Maximoff and Aubrey Plaza's Rio Vidal as Lady Death.
