Nelfix dropped The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On season 3 on December 4, 2024. Though only a few episodes have gone live this Wednesday, the show has already seen one of its biggest twists ever. Even before the fans could catch up with who ended up with whom after making the choice for their 'Trial marriages,' a few contestants decided to call it quits.
This season began with 6 couples: Nick & Sandy, J.R. & Zaina, Caleb & Mariah, Micah & Chanel, Scotty & Aria, and Vanessa & Dave. However, as the show progressed, each of the 12 contestants interacted and picked out new partners for themselves to live with for the next three weeks.
After making 'The Choice,' things got a little overwhelming for some more than others. Vanessa who picked Nick ended up leaving the show on day 3 of their trial marriage. Along with her, Dave, Chanel, and Micah also decided to leave the show one night without even saying goodbye to their 'new partners.'

As the first five episodes of The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 3 went live on the OTT platform, fans were left shocked with not one but 4 contestants leaving the show too soon.
Vanessa Hattaway, who entered the show with Dave after she issued an ultimatum, left on the second night of her trial marriage with Nick. While making her choice, Vanessa sounded sure of picking Nick and even told him that anybody would be lucky to have him as a husband.
Even on their first night together, the new couples seemed comfortable in each other's presence. However, Vanessa decided to secretly meet Dave (her original partner) off camera. After the meeting, both of them decided to pack their bags and leave the show in the middle of the night, without even a mere note.

After Vanessa left the show without giving any reason to even the creators of the show, she finally wrote to a fan on Instagram about her decision,
"I know I just had to do what was best for my mental health. You’re only seeing 1%."
Fans of the show are not happy with Vanessa and how she left Nick, and they demand Vanessa apologize to Nick for the same. Vanessa, however, doesn't feel any obligation towards her 'trial husband.
"You don’t know what happened behind scenes. I have nothing to apologize for."
Putting an end to all the questions and judgments by the fans, Vanessa assured everyone that she would explain everything on the reunion episode. She said,
"I will likely talk more about it at some point soon but there is only so much I can say. I’ll add more context after the reunion."
Though The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On star didn't reveal the real reason behind her leaving in the middle of the night, fans can't wait for the reunion to understand what happened 'behind the scenes.'
